We have never asked anyone for anything but sometimes there comes a time when you need help.
So here is my story, my son needs to have more surgery to open his sinus cavity, he has had 2 previous surgeries and needs one more. We have no health insurance and limited income because my husband is on workers comp and has been for the last 17 months. Before he got injured at work we had health insurance but since he has been out due to his injury his employer fired him and took the health benefits away also. My son also has other medical conditions he has severe asthma, and a weakened immune system*his body can not fight off infections well). He needs the sinus surgery because of the sinus infections that he has been getting because he sinus have noway to drain due to the openings being extremly small, the surgery is to widen them and help them drain better. If he does not have this surgery and he gets a sinus infection he will end up in the hospital with an IV with antibiotic to help get rid of the infection. It is hard for him to led a normal life he has been in the hospital approx. 10 times in the last 1 1/2 years due to infections and his asthma. He is only 9 years old and deserves to be a kid and one that is healthy enough to do kids stuff. Please help, anything would be greatly appreciated. I truly hate asking for this but I have to think of my child first, my children come before anything.in my life. (more)
