Hi Y'all, I wanted to update y'all the as of yesterday, the WC Adjuster is now denying all of my medications. I went yesterday to pick up my muscle relaxers, and they'd been denied. I just got off work comp 2 months ago. Until you get caught in it's web it is difficult
to fathom the suffering they impose on people.
The de-valueing and blantent lack of concern for your well being should be illegal.
Their whole purpose is to keep monies in the comp account and cream the interest each month for themselvs.
Your caught in a system.
I was on w-comp near a year and have never in my lifetime been so badly treated, and viciously attacked and challenged. There are laws covering domestic abuse, mentally, physically, and emotional-psychologically...there should also be laws for work comp abuse. They withold the meager funds due you to break you into giving up and dropping them. You get my vote, my teeth can wait. Your need is a crisis and I have been there.

I have to say some things, this is me speaking, and some from my heart, the rest from knowledge of the facts.

$500 is the pot, it is what Cambrian House will give to this wish should it win. But it is not the maximum, and it doesn't solve Lisa's problem.

A number of her outside friends have come in and made donations to HER, by donating to this wish. Knowing that those who made the donations intended for her to get that money, I recommended to her, to adjust the amount to what she really needed, or at least to $700.

Lisa informed me that while I was correct, she felt that there would be hard feelings if she changed it. On that I started this thread in the forum... [ link ]

I have talked to a LOT of people. and I still think she should change it. And there are many here who agree with me. I have been homeless, I have lived out of my car. It is NOT a life that anyone would choose. And while a family has a load of options, a woman with no children is unable to take advantage of many of the aids that are available. The prevailing thought I suppose is that the government should step in to help homeless children, but adults without children should fend for themselves.

I still think that Lisa should change the amount on this wish. I do not care if it is only a day away from the end. The people who made those donations, did not do it so the money could go to 2nd place. They were donating to Lisa. Lisa should get the money.

Lisa sent me a message privately stating she did not feel right changing it so late. I urge you all to help me change her mind. If enough of us remind her that the donors donated to HER not someone else, then maybe she will change it, maybe she will know that this community will not be angry with her for making a late change. Help me, to help Lisa.

Lisa, please reconsider, change it at least enough to cover the donations already entered. I am begging you!!!

Whoever you assholes are that have come in here trying to paint my friend as a bad person for asking for help in more than one place.... Do you have such minuscule brains as to think for one fucking minute that Lisa's financial difficulties come form ONE place?

This girl is unable to work for a living, have you been there? She is getting fucked by Worker's Compensation, and cannot get any help. She has no income, no way to earn any and is getting screwed repeatedly by the guys with the ability to help her, simply because they have the means to NOT help her as well.

Have any of you TROLLS ever been in that situation? If you have, then you are showing here that you have no heart and a big ASS, because I have been there. And my heart goes out to Lisa in this time of need. Unfortunately I have personally been in this situation for 3 and a Half Years, luckily I have a wife with a small income so I did not end up on the street.

If I had the money, Lisa would be feeling a bit better financially already, but I don't. And there are a few that have come here, with the ability to help, who have decided instead to throw rocks, to kick Lisa while she is down. This $500, while desperately needed, will not solve her dilemma. So she asked for help elsewhere too, big deal, Like I said, Moronic pea brained fuck wads, the problems she has are not all coming from the same place, the help should not be expected to either.

This all happened way back in Feb 2007 and somehow Lisa has whipped this simple exchange into being "slalking" a "troll" and worse. Yes, this is the sum total of what was said about her. Has anyone ask her to produce evidence of "stalking" her such as emails, phone calls, snail mail? There is nothing, absolutely nothing. She lied when she said I was "served by my local police" - served for what? She lists herself as a "psychologist" which she is not. She seems to be desperate to sue someone - anyone and now is dragging my completely innocent family into her drama. My family doesn't even know who she is and would have little interest in zero contact with her - you want IP's and addresses - contact me and I will save you the time of searching. They always say that there are two sides to every story and this would be an example of such a situation. Read my own words of praise for her and tell me if this sounds even remotely like a "stalker" - shame on you Lisa - I sent you money for Thanksgiving and because I didn't want to send more money to you this is what you do - shame on you Lela - you write beautiful poems to Jesus and look at you "flipping off the world" ... as I said you two deserve each other.

5 stars, good luck. Sorry, I have taken so long to vote on anyone this week but I fell in the bath tub and hurt myself worse than I was before. I was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance on Monday. I am not doing good at all. I will get to as many wished a possible this week but I am not sure how many that will be.
