This is my last try, I lowered the amount hoping it would help.
I jus want one one weekend to be just a grandma, not a disciplinarian, I want to rent a van and take my babies to the park, to the zoo, take them fishing, feed them junk food, spoil them rotten, let them have their way (mostly) without worrying about how this is going to affect them later on in the week. To tell them yes they can stay up late . to tell them Yes they can have chocolate cake for breakfast and drink soda pops all day. To take them to get ice cream and let them have as much chocolate syrup on it that they want. To sit up late with them watching movies and eating junk food till they fall asleep all around me on the couch. I just want to be a real grandma for one weekend. Please help me achieve this wish. We live practically in the middle of nowhere but the trip will be worth it.
The 400 will cover the cost of renting a van for the weekend so we can all go at the same time, to rent a cabin, get my fishing license, fishing poles and bait, gas to the lake and the zoo, water toys for them to play with, to go to baskin robbins (34 miles from here) and let them try as many flavors as they can, assorted junk foods, (which is really rare in my house), just so we can all get away from the stress of this house and enjoy one weekend of pure fun together. This way for one weekend i can avoid questions like, why dont i have a daddy., and why dont my mom want me with her, just one weekend to keep their mind off these questions, From Friday evening to late Sunday thats all i ask

Good Luck I gave ya my 5*'s. I applaud you. Not many grandmothers these days would do what you are doing. I know I can't even get my mother to watch my little girl for one day without having to pay her. These kids are so wonderfuly blessed. They may not realize it now but once they get big enough they are gonna respect you SO much. Stay strong Grammie and may God bless you with this must needed weekend.
heres our 5 hope you get your wish and i applaude you....my mother is raising my brothers children...he was murdered and now his grandchild born on valentine day and she stays wore out all the time so she really probably needes a much needed babby sitter and a day out to her self...but if she is like my mom wouldnt even dream of asking for such a "selfish" wish....but it isnt selfish wish you should take time to take care of yourself ...because when you dont you get sick ...then who will take care of you and the kids...GOD bless you and hope you get your wish and that much more....sherry ...please view our wish thanks
Ok, here's the deal on this lady. She was married for 28 years to what she THOUGHT was a wonderful man. They were raising all of these grandchildren as their own. All of a sudden, with no warning at all, this husband just up and left her with all of the responsibility on her shoulders.
She now is having to struggle with bills, take care of the children, go to the Dr's appts and stay up day and night with all of these resposibilies with no help, except an "occassional" hand from from one of the parents!
She only has a very small car also, so she can't even take all of the kids to the Drs at one time! If anyone, ever in this world needed a van, it is this lady!! But yet she chose not to even wish for one this week, since her other wishes for one were largely ignored.
This Grandmother is in desperate need of love, prayers, support, votes, and donations wouldn't hurt!! She needs a "fun day" where she can just enjoy herself (even if she has to take the kids with her). Is that too much to ask from someone with such a gentle, loving heart?
Please vote this wish up and if possible, donate a little to her. She is very much deserving and such a very nice lady. Would you please help her out?

Hey yall,
This lady is raising 3 grandchildren 24/7 and her other 2 part time!! She desperately needs a break, even if it is to go PLAY Grandma sometime, instead of BEING Grandma/Mama all the time!!!!!!
She also has some very private issues going on too, that are VERY stressful. I don't know how in the world she does it all!! My hair would be totally white (or pulled out by now) if I were in her shoes!!
Can we please see about getting some votes and/or donations to help this very deserving Grandma out? Let's help her to have some fun in life instead of just chaos and stress!!!

I really hope you get your wish. Worst case senerio, you might not be able to rent a van, but soda and ice cream is cheap, and staying up late is free. When I was a child my Grandmother took me and my brother to McDonalds to get chicken nuggets. We then went home and put a big blanket down on the kitchen floor and had a picnic. It's one of the best memories I have with her and it probably cost her less then ten bucks. I remember that day better then all the other times at the zoo.
