I am a freelance writer who has yet to start making enough money to quit my day job.
My desktop PC is several years old, and it has become painfully slow and unreliable. Programs crash frequently, and I sometimes have to boot it up (a process that takes 15-20 minutes) twice before I can even get it to do anything.
I could really use a shiny new laptop to help me get more writing jobs done, and be able to live my dream of being a professional writer. I would also be much better able to help support my family by writing full-time if I just had the proper equipment. And on sunny days, I could work outside because I wouldn't be chained to my desktop. :) (more)
