Me and my colleagues just made a recent visit to the general hospital where these children with cancer are admitted for chemotherapy
and treatment. It crushed me to see children as young as 1 year old having cancer. One child has just recently cut one of his feet and 2 other patients have their eyes bloated more like a goldfish. Nurses said these are all because of the tumors that have no more chances of treatment. Handing them out our small gifts of crayons and coloring books make them smile and happy despite all the tubes inserted on them. I really feel these angels deserve more. So please help me in granting my wishes so I can further help all of them, most of which came from families who have really nothing in life but still wanted to take chances of surviving from cancer. @techguy - the money will be given to the administrator of the hospital. she is in charge of these kids with cancer. the funds will be used for the chemoteraphy of these children.
@robnurse -thanks for the comment, its not actually for me but for the kids that really need them. commendation goes to robinhood, money goes to the kids :)
What are you planning on doing with the money if you win? How are you going to use the money to support Cancer?
Cancer patients are definitely a worthy group. My wife and I were in the hospital with our first child and they put us in the cancer unit, because no where else had space. It was sad to talk to the people in the room next to us. They asked us what we were there for and we'd say a little fever. Then, he'd respond how his kid had a terminal disease. It really put our child's illness in perspective.
Great wish!
Its also difficult for families to cope with having children with cancer, anything that can be done to bring joy to their lives is commendable!
Oh man! Those poor kids, they deserve happiness. Go you.
A very inspiring story, truly a gift from your heart. You will be blessed for your generosity of spirit. good luck!
@husband.. thanks for the comment. may u also be granted the wish of ur heart
@hagrid - yeah i forgot to edit the title, like i said, the nice wish remains, the naughty can be done next time :)
I am sorry, but I must vote "thumbs down" on this wish. You are wishing for two separate things, one philanthropical, one selfish, in the same wish.
Not that either of these are unworthy separately, but I am a cynic, and I cannot help but wonder if you combined them with the hopes of getting the selfish wish by riding on the coattails of the philanthropic wish.
