ok my friends, I have helped many of you with your wishes and now I could use your help.
I really need my kitchen back!!!
to the left is a current picture of my kitchen (in it's present state). it has been this way for over a year!!! as you can see, the floor is in really bad shape. last time i asked for money for kitchen counters/lower cabinets...this time i am asking for the means to redo the kitchen floor. this needs to be done before the counters/cabinets are installed.
we need to rent an electric grinder to get the glue off that whoever laid in the first flooring in this old house (70 yrs. ago) used. that is $40.00 a day. then we need plywood to lay down, and the vinal tiles to lay on top of that. $500.00 will get pretty much all of the flooring materials. my hubby and I can do the work, we just need the funds to get the stuff to do it with!!!
we have had a long drawn out period with very little income coming into the household. my hubby's work has been up and down for a long time, and about the time we think we're going to get caught up, he gets laid off again. so we never get there and then we get even further behind.....it's a never-ending cycle for us!!!
I am aware that a few weeks ago there was another wish posted very simular to this one. when I read that wish, I thought....she's got my kitchen!!!! lol not the same one I assure you!!
I am posting this wish in the 'naughty' category, for the simple reason that I would never post a wish in the 'nice' category that might take votes away from the most needful wishes. even though this wish is very much needed, it's not 'life-threatening' nor 'critical', therefore I thought it best to post it in the 'naughty' category.

Are you sure this wish isn't life-threatening?!? My husband and I are doing some home improvement work now, and let me tell you I've had some close calls. Be careful!
it's only 'life-threatning' if I don't get my hubby something to eat cooked in it...at this point anyway, lololol. we pretty much updated most of our house, but just can't tell very much, lolol. and yes, I have had some close calls!!!! lololol my hubby more so than me...he fell through the bathroom floor...with the bath tub!!! lololol
