OK, So you are all probably tired of Seeing this wish, but, I am a diabled wife and mother.
I have a 17 year old son and I am disabled and have been for most of his life. There is very little we can do together due to my disability. If we had a car that would run, ours broke down after so many band-aids being placed on it that now it is irrepairable, then we could go places together and do things that Moms do with their sons. Even if it is just a ride around the Penninsula. It doesn't have to be a brand new car, just one that is reliable and will hold my wheelchair. I am not concerned about how it looks, or what make it is ... although an eco friendly one would be best. I would love to have a car that ran on a renewable fuel source.
My Son loves nature if we could get there we could spend the whole day together cleaning up the Erie Penninsula and helping the environment while spending QUALITY time together. My son is my world. Just a few days ago, a car dealer who happens to belong to RHF and lives here in Erie called me and said that if I could come up with the $450.00, they would cover the rest for a NEW car for us. One with an automated carrier on top for my wheelchair and everything. I told them I would try making the wish again.
So, here I am ONE MORE TIME hopefully for the road. (more)

I hope you get the money for your car, I take care of a disabled gentleman at night and I know that being able to actually go somewhere means the world to him and that having a vehicle to tot your chair in is very expensive. our gov't should be more helpful for our truely disabled people of America. I can't wait to hear about you and your son's first day on the road together! God Bless You

That is awesome that car dealer said that. Bless him/her :) I was also going to suggest that there is a charity that gives cars to needy people I forget what it is called and also there are car auction houses. I bought a van once for $50 and it ran for over a year which was time enough to get a different car. The trick to the auction is to take someone that knows something about cars and to like you say not care about the looks. Good luck and God Bless :)
