I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THIS ONE
My Grandmother passed away in 1984.
At that time my Mother paid for a headstone to match my Grandfathers and my Uncles. The engraving was paid for in full and everything. Several months after my Grandmother passed away the Memorial Studio that my Mother Purchased the headstone from went bankrupt and was purchased by another person who kept the same name Ericson Memorial Studios in Erie, PA. Even though My Mom has her receipt they claim there is nothing they can do. My Grandma was a wonderful woman and deserves a headstone. Please help me to help my Mom.
It is sad that it is going to take an attorney to get them to put the headstone in even with my Mother having a receipt to show what it was and everything.
The Memorial Studio is telling her that because it was through the old owners she has to try to get her money back from them and but another Headstone.
This won't work as the headstone had already been done and matched my Grandfathers and my Uncles.
After this many years, it is impossible to match the granite and the design. This is what the new owners are telling her.
Please, My Mother is a good woman who would do anything for anyone. Help me to help her.

I still think the press should be involved in this, it's definitely something that would catch MY interest on the news, and if the old studio won't honor their contract, the new one should just for positive press. I'm praying that you get this wish.
