OK so I have been away from here for awhile as far as making wishes.
I have been hopping on to vote on wishes though. I am in desperate need for some help here. I have never in my life begged for anything. Now is the time. You know about my situation from my other past wishes, all remains the same.
I currently receive food stamps in the amount of 300.00/month. I have 4 children one of which 1 is still on formula. Formula can be quite expensive and I was not approved for WIC. Reason for that is because this would be my 3rd time in 3 years receiving it. They were giving me an extremly hard time. So, most of the food stamps go to getting formula for my youngest daughter and we all know that food stamps do not apply for pampers. My 3 girls are all in Pampers still...I know I know I am working on the whole potty training thing. It's just not working yet!!
The only income I get right now is $100/week child support from my sos father and that is only if he has it. So as of right now this has run out from buying gas for the car to get the children back and forth to where they have to go, couple gallons of milk since the food stamps ran out, (the price of milk is ridiculous now, almost 5.00/gallon!), and 3 small packages of diapers. So, now I am out of formula and just about done with the pampers. I have nowhere to turn so I am asking all you RFFer's to please help me and vote up my wish. Donations accepted as well!! WIC is a federally funded program of the USDA. There are NO guidelines stating that one must limit their family to the satisfaction of some WIC worker. File a complaint with the local USDA Service office, and with your Congressman. (And maybe your Senators.)
This service is there for those that need it, even in the least. That you have 3 babies only extends the need. It's there to provide proper nutrition for the children, NOT to satisfy the bad behavior of some federal employees that forget that their work is public SERVICE.
Contact these people as soon as possible. Mr. Mooney needs to know about the problem so that it can be addressed.
