I have over 12 teeth missing due to being diabetic.
Now I have made wish after wish for my kids and now I want this wish. I have not smiled in over 17 years beause of my teeth.I cant laugh or take pictures with my family because I have all these teeth gone. I was at the park last week and this kid I didnt even know came up to me and pointed out I had teeth missing. It is so embarrissing. I dont even talk in public due to my teeth being showed. And they have 6 more they want to pull. So I need to get the money together to either get plates or dentures.
I also want some clothes. I have NO clothes at all. I have no nice outfits to wear at all. I dont fit in with anyone because of my teeth and my clothes. I stay home except to go to the Doctor because I have no clothes and people see my teeth. And thats bad since my kids do sports and that means I cant do things with them at school either. I was going to send a picture of my teeth but have no way to send one. I am in constant pain from my teeth all the time. I want to go to Church but have nothing at all to wear. (more)

I actually know what you mean, about the comment about the kid in the park, I have Lupus, and one of the many things that comes with it, is Discoid Lupus, and it's a huge rash over my face, almost like a butterfly, across my nose, and my cheeks. I also have lesions on my face from my Lupus and I have been stared at many times, and one time, about 4 years ago I had a child ask me if I had Aids.
I was shocked at first and then tried to explain what it was I really have. He didn't understand, but I felt better just explaining it to him, and his mother also listened.

I understand the teeth thing. I went without smiling for a long time until I could get one of my front teeth fixed and I am still paying the bills for having it fixed. There really aren't a lot of options for dental care in the USA. I hope you get your smile back, sister.
