I want to get this kettle for a friend because she doesn't have one.
Her stovetop doesn't work properly, meaning she can't use a stovetop kettle. I have one similar to this, and I love it, use it all the time, and would like to give my friend this same opportunity. I jacked up the price a little so I could also pickher up some nice tea. (more)

I grew up in Boston, so to me, I associate hot tea and other hot beverages as "comfort food". My friend is really going through a major challenge now, and I'd like to give her some comfort in the form of this kettle, some nice tea/cocoa, and maybe a special mug if there's enough $$ leftover. She is a very special person, and has touched my heart and warmed up my insides, and I'd love to be able to do the same for her.
