Since I did the old fashion rectangle pin'em on cloth diapers I'm kinda confused as to why this type of diaper is important? No insult intended...just wondering why a pack of pin'em on's wouldn't do the trick? Educate me please...I don't think they even had these kind of cloth diapers when my kids were little. (more)
I never thought of using those tree shape ornaments for anything! Great Idea, I'm going to pass that one on to some friends. (more)
I understand disability wishes. My kids grew up with a disabled mom as I have been disabled since my teens. My oldest son is 100% disabled and my youngest...we don't know for sure if his adult life will go as hoped. My oldest lived through an abusive first 5 years of life from my ex idiot, and then the one man who loved them as his own and treated them well screwed up and put himself in prison 1000 miles from where we lived and they saw him twice since he left their lives when they were children. We were tossed from a very good income and everything we could ever want...to deep poverty. We came from deep poverty to living at just poverty level but my boys grew up a pretty had life and I have one son who will never really grow up...he will remain forever a child.
I remember the days of rice and beans or crackers and peanut butter for dinner because that was all I could afford. Holiday and Birthday presents stopped when daddy went to jail. Thankfully my boys grew up learning some valuable lessons though and I'm betting yours will too. (more)
I HAD SEVERE LYPHOEDEMA IN MY LEGS SEVERAL YEARS AGO. THE INSIDE OF MY RIGHT THIGH WAS THE SIZE OF A WATERMELLON, AND THE OTHER, JUST A BIT SMALLER. MY HUSBAND WRAPPED MY LEGS TIGHT, LIKE A MUMMY, FOR MONTHS...AND THAT TOOK CARE OF THAT. HAVE YOU TRIED CONSISTENT DAILY WRAPPING? MASSAGING THE WATER OUT, ETC? I ACTUALLY WENT TO A LYPHOEDEMA CLINIC IN MY AREA, BUT AS I SAID , MY HUSBAND HAD TO WRAP MY LEGS BECAUSE THE SPECIALIST COULD NOT GET THE WRAPS TO STAY ON!
