Last week I posted a wish for gas money so my fiance could get to job sites and talk to contractors about his apprenticeship in the operators union. Well, a few days ago, and this will sound so stupid, a really old friend of his that he hasn't talked to in 16 years found him on myspace. I guess she used to date his older brother and was a really good friend of his family's until they lost touch. Turns out that her husband is a supervisor in his company AND he is in the operators union. If you know somebody it is REALLY easy to get it. AND not only that, he needs mechanics in his company. And guess what, John was a diesel mechanic in the military!!! What a weird coincidence!! Not only that, they need mechanics really bad. So, he emailed her his resume, cover letter, and letter of recommendation from his father who is retired from the operators union and it looks like he's got a job! The only downfall is that we would have to move from Wisconsin to Indiana. But, you have to do what you have to do. It starts out at a VERY good wage. I'm willing to move for him to get his foot in the door for a better life for our family and we will finally be able to afford a wedding!!! Awesome. I don't know if people really know me that well on here, but I just thought I had to share for anyone who did bother to look at my wish. Sometimes you really do get your wishes, even if you don't win on here!!!

What great news for you and your family! Please try to think of the move as an adventure and not a downfall, it's tough moving away from all that is familiar . When I had to do this, also because of the job situation, I threw myself into setting up my new household and getting involved with the community , mostly through the kids school and activities. wish you and yours the best of luck !
