Hi everyone! I want to say that I am so sorry for not being able to vote, comment etc this round. This has been an awful week with Macy going through everything she is going through, and it just seems like when anything gets better, another thing comes along to make things worse. First, she was in total agony and pain. Now the pain is better (except at night) but she is itching and because the entire back of her legs are cut and sutured, we can't put anything down her casts or use anything to relieve this. On top of all of this, she is up every 15-20 minutes through the night, because she can't move to circulate her body which makes her miserable.
So good news, I FINALLY got my car fixed which has been broken down for over 8 months. After months of having so called mechanics flush the engine, put oin a new water pump, radiator, head gasket and a couple other things I have no clue what they are, turns out it was a simple relay which costed $48. Releived at how we now have a car to get around in especially since we are expected in atlanta next month for her follow up, my husband begins down the road with it to ensure it is not overheating, and the tire blows. Seems the tires were dryrotted, so now the car is fixed but we can't drive it because of the tires. So as I think back asking "Can it possibly get any worse after nights of Macy in agony and there is nothing I can do, BAM!!! Yes, it can. Just be cautious asking that question LOL
Anyway, things have been not so good, and I have been unable to be around to support anyone and I am so sorry. I am catching up all I can between now and the end of the round, and promise I have not forgotten you :) I have just been so down and depressed not being able to do anything to relieve Macy, and sincerely feel like I am losing my mind. I just want to throw my hands up and give up but then think, it will all be worth it if I actually see her able to walk :)
Chasity, I am so so sorry that I did not call you back yesterday. I PROMISE I am calling today, however getting the FW to you is now going to be a huge problem, because we are out of a vehicle until we get tires. If there is any way you can get here though, they are yours and hubby went and picked up more last night so it will be worth the trip if you can get here. He feels so bad about promising he would get them to you, and then can't, so he went and asked his uncle for some of the larger FW. Any way you could get here?
Anyway, I just really wanted to say thanks for all your votes on my wish, even though I haven't been around, and please know that it was more meant to lighten the mood and I hope it accoplished that. Also thanks some for the messages and calls. It's nice to know that someone noticed me gone LOL
