I have been a member here for a while now, and it just occurred to me this morning, that while I feel extremely close to a lot of people on here I don’t really know a lot about most of them. So, I thought I would start a “Getting to Know You” thread. I am sure I am not the only one here that feels that little disconnect between screen names and who a person is, so I will start the thread by telling a little about who I am.
My name is Letrecia, a lot of people call me Lala just because my name is so long. I am married, and have a wonderful 8 year old son. My husband and little boy both have severe asthma, and my little one has food allergies. We take care of my disabled mother & father in law. My mom and stepdad live close by, and I am extremely close to both of them. My stepdad helped my mom raise me, they got married when I was two. My mom is like a rock, she is in wonderful health, but my stepdad has MS so we take it day by day with him. Some days are great, some days, well they are another day! My bio dad passed away last July, I still struggle with a lot of emotions about him. I work full time in a steel mill, and we have lots of animals at home that we love to death! Well, that is me in a nut shell, who’s next?
