*big sigh* Trying to get this out right. Yes, I was bitching b/c they lowered it and it doesn't make sense since food is getting so high and nothing changed except some of my costs went up. I also DID say that I DID appreciate that I got anything Its up there ^^^^^.
And Bridget I am not going to defriend you but I will say YOU ARE WRONG.
I do NOT buy soda, cookies, snack, donuts, ice cream, stupid dora fruit snack and Disney princess cereal, premade drinks. We do not have buy one get one meat sales at the stores down here. Even our Sav A Lot has gotten more expensive than Wal-Mart. I have learned that certain items are cheaper at United. Through the help of Missin, I go online and see who has what on sale. However, sometimes the lack of gas $ prevents me from being able to go to 3 different sides of town. My kids drink Flavor Aid (8 for $1) on the rare occasion I make it. Mostly its water. The only snacks my kids get are those freezer pops that are all attached to eachother and sometimes I buy a 88 cent package of cookies. They are not allowed to snack during the day. It's breakfast, lunch and dinner and if they were good maybe a snack if I even have any. I also get what coupons I can (none right now b/c I can't print crap, no ink) and make Walmart comp sale prices of other stores on top of what coupons I have, I have the best luck with cereal. My kids do not eat those microwave biskits and crap or pop tarts for breakfast. It's cereal or a egg sandwich for breakfast. Hot dogs or a sandwich for lunch and then dinner.
I don't really know where I am going wrong. I make simply meals, no fancy stuff. Also I am not sure what you mean by "buy in bulk" as I buy the largest size pkg of chicken they offer and freeze half, same with beef, pork chops or whatever meat. Heck the rolls of meat are up to $10 for 5 pounds and thats the cheap stuff, even beef on ssale isn't any cheaper. To buy any bigger in bulk I would require a deep freeze, extra fridge and a membership to SAMS CLUB. NONE of Which I can't afford. Maybe it's frozen food but I don't buy all that much. No hot pockets or anything. Maybe some frozen pizzas on occasion. Or prepackaged food. I rarely have any leftovers and if I do its like a spoonful or a bite. My kids can eat. Right now they all complain they are hungry all the time. I think they are having growth spurts. I don't know how to garden and I am very limited on my recipe knowledge. I have a large phobia and paranoid of in store ground and butchered meat. To many times I have opened it to find the center brown or opened chicken and it was bad and smelled horrible. which most like means it was repackaged. I have heard too many stories.
Like I have said before if someone can help me out I am willing to try learn and try not to freak out when I get confused. *sigh* But thanks for making me feel like a greedy ungrateful bitch. :( and yes this time I am a bit booty hurt b/c this was never really a problem until I went disabled. Before I made enough money to buy food out of pocket.
