doug.vs or anyone in GoN Administration

    Can you confirm or deny that the past due winnings that were recently sent to J.R. for her wish were send to a paypal account using kyrieroll@hotmail.com as the account name/email address and also....if that same email address was used to register another member here?


    If the above facts are accurate, then this person has put all the members of GoN through the wringer emotionally with all her stories of attacks by other people.

    Can that person just be banned, I mean come on... I may be new here but certainly I can connect the dots. Ban the IP addy once and for all.

    Depending on what ISP is being used, banning an IP addy could be disasterous. You could eliminate the majority of people using AOL if you did that...along with some others.
    I think it would be perfectly logical to make a person chose which account they wanted to use and delete the others if, there was a connection to more than one account found though.

    I see, I am not a comp literate person, I don't know how aol or other service providers work. There has to be some way to get rid of people like this. I am all for helping those in need, or just being a good friend... but shit like this makes me want to go elsewhere and I just started here.

    hayden the thing is this is a web 2.0 site.. which means no banning, no moderation.. nothing. Members make the rules .. anyone can edit pages like 'how it works' page....even you can edit it. Anything goes here.. there's the good and the bad.

    Missin, thanks so much... I kept reading this is a 2.0 site, but had no clue what it meant. Thanks to you now I know..... It actually helps me now realize how ppl rat the scumers, oopsss scammers out like they do. I think I better put the boxing gloves on and join the party. I just despise liers, cheaters and scumers, ooops scammers ;-) Thanks again Missin :)

    I have returned from the dead.. ok so not quiet dead ..maybe more the undead type :)


    Heck I am so gullible anyone can fool me and get away with it.

    uhhhh....stormy, I 1,000% agree with you, but......I made a HUGE mistake last summer, stayed away, fell apart, and AM getting help (I can prove it too, if need be, just have to dig through some boxes right now....)..soo....where do I fit in??


    I'm not repeat **NOT** supporting scammers AT ALL...I just am curious.....

    Whatever happened with you was before my time here so, it wasn't you I was referring to. And, I think it's perfectly OK for people to admit they made a mistake and want to come back. I think that, rather than everyone just taking the 'I'm reformed' comments at face value, they should prolly wait a while to judge that though.
    In your case, I don't know what you did initially but, you seem fairly normal now. ;)

    I was actually surprised she did this...she seemed nice in the forums months back...she was fooling us all...and I think it had to do with her son. lets be honest now...some people felt so bad for her, people never thought she could do this. sad.

    Hey...dead children are always good for sympathy...no doubt.

    Anywho, I'm guessing hes on the GoN/CH team.....so Doug vs. can you pleeeeease get my old handle's password for me? I have hit "send password to email" many, many times and I still do not have it =(

    I think it was missin' that finally had the idea to seach the member list for the email/paypal addy that J.K. had been posting in all her wishes. I don't remember now what prompted her to do that. Everything else kind of snowballed from there...one thing leading to another.

    For a while there, I know CH was having issues with Yahoo email addresses and the messages not getting through. I'm not sure if that's still going on and keeping you from getting your password.


    CH sold GoN to some other company and Doug VS is the new Blue.

    It still says Cambrian House at the bottom of the page....


    And I believe the yahoo issue....Ive sent my password to myself at least 20 times and never recieved it.
