Bona-Fide HeroHi Everyone! Thanks for missing me, lol. Have some health issues going on and also have a runaway client - no fun, waiting for the call from CPS *ick*. I'm testing out every one of my about 7 ice packs, and they all work pretty much the same. I ordered a heated massage pad, am looking forward to getting that. We've been having some severe weather over here and that doesn't help, irritates all of my many conditions. Kami, Thanks for checking in. Once I get everything transferred over I'll text you my new cell phone #.
I've been kind of in a funk about Erin, too. Still in shock and don't want to believe it, even though I saw the pics that ZM posted of the memorial. I think I'm going to leave her number on my cell phone and just pretend she's still around - which I know she is (in spirit), but calling the number won't help. Last year, one day I got an urgent need to call Erin. It was as if someone was telling me that I had to call her - didn't have my cell or didn't have her cell # on it, forget which, but saw her posting after that, so knew she was ok. A couple of days later, I did call her, and asked what she'd been doing on that day at that time. She asked why, and I told her about the very strong urge to call her. She hesistated a bit, then told me that she'd been lying in bed contemplating suicide. She was going through a lot with the pain and seizures, otherwise I'm sure that would never have occurred to her. I think that was before she and Matt got as close as they were, too. We hadn't talked much lately, but I still thought of her, and still do.
Anyway, I assume her passing must have been very peaceful, or I would have gotten another 'urge' to call her. At least that's what I've been telling myself. We never talked all the time like she did with some of her really close friends, but we would talk for a few hours at a time when one of us did call the other. We had a kinship, I guess because we were both harassed by the same person, and that brought us closer together. I'm glad that she no longer has pain & seizures, etc. but she is missed. Hugs, Erin, wherever you are. You're in my thoughts.
