I don't think they should be let in this country without proper papers!! I find it SOOSOOOSOOSOSOSOOSOSO RUDE when they don't talk English!! If we were in there country they would have a fit if we didn't speak there language!! So learn to speak English and stop being rude and talking a different langauge when I am waiting on you!!! Or even when you are in a store in general and I walk by it. Rude!! Sorry I am so glad I got to say this!! My husband and I talk about it all the time.

We sprekinza English......I think that immigrants should have to know a lot of english, pay the same taxes, have the same requirments with law and everything else....

Its so bad in other parts of the world, I totally understand why people try to come here. I'm sure I would do the same if I was unfortunate enough to be born in a bad situation. I don't have a solution though....

I don't know how I would change the laws, but as far as I know, there are probably millions of Americans living & working in other countries, so how is that any different. But I do think it should be mandatory that they learn english!

If they're here illegally, send them back. I can't do illegal things in this country, why should they be able to!

amnesty for those who have been here working and paying taxes for three years or more. there are plenty of citizens who haven't done this so if an 'illegal' has then they have earned their citizenship with there hard work and tax money.

any1 illegal gets fined and deported. No special treatment or exemptions for illegals. MUST SPEAK & UNDERSTAND ENGLISH! Cannot apply for any type of assistance until US citizen. No free health care til I get it too. much more but so little time.

Where to start? I just wish all imigrants would learn english!!! I hate not being able to find a good job for not being bi-lingual!

I am not exactly sure how I would change it! I just know that what we are doing now isn't working. I do believe people should get a chance for a better life. I feel like who are we to judge someone else's life when we are not in there shoes and I'm sure if we were we would be trying to do the same thing they are!

I would end up changing it so that no one would be able to cross the boarders with out a portpass. If they do they go back to their country. Or they have to pay a big find.

I agree,there is alot of illegals here,taking our jobs and getting everything handed to them.
On the othere hand we have to be the ones who struggle.They need alot of changing and people who will stand up to them,and let them know it's wrong.

Our immigration laws need a huge change, illegals working here, getting free medical, free food stamp, free this, free that, and me who can't work do to disability and is a american citizen and who has paid taxes all my life can't get any thing from the goverment, it is a joke.

I feel the immigration laws need a major overhaul.. Too many illegals here working, not paying taxes, getting free medical, and our government opening their arms to them... We need to look here at home at the people that can't afford their needed medications, Dr, bills and think about what's going on...
If you wish to come here legally I have no problem....
My family was from Russia and they had to become citizens, before they could do anything...
They had to prove they could support themselves without government help before they could become a citizen...
This claim of Americans not wanting low paying jobs is crap... Most unemployed Americans would do any job to support themselves.....
Illegals help only big business... Low pay, cheap labor and the big wigs earn the profit....

It is disgusting to me that immigrants illegal or not can come here and get the help and federal assistance so many of us that have worked and paid into the system need. Don't flame me either, my daughter is hispanic and her father was born in Mexico. I don't think it's that my daughter should suffer because she was legally born in this country.

american is made up of different people, from different countries and I dont want to say people cant come here but it really really irritates me that they dont learn english - I think they need to learn english to live here AND they should respect our flag etc. If they cant they should not live here. IF I WAS TO MOVE to someone elses country to live then I would respect their country and learn their language.

before we ask another race to understand and follow our ways ask urself what would happen if USA no longer was here and I had to live in ohh lets say Mexico would you like it if they told you either learn our customs and language or get out...I dont think so ...

also Misty how would u like it if you were told in order to go to let's say Mexico or china colombia that you had to do the same thing your asking them to do hear do you really think it's fair look around you crime happens wether it's african americans,mexicans,indians, you name it it will still happen wether the hispanics are here or not so then who is everybody gunna blame Im sure they will find another race to pick on.....

I wish we could live in a world where there is no need for walls and fences. I wish we could even things out so that they could just be part of the U.S. (Mexico)

I simply think it needs to be equal. I have known people who have come to this country and within a year they were provided multiple cars per family, rent paid, food given to them, they did not have to hold jobs and one family they even bought them a house after about 6 months of being here. (I used to live in apartments where they had started bringing in many people from world relief). While I believe we should help them I believe they should have to help themselves just as we have to as well.

I think that they need to attend classes on what it like to be an AMERICAN while also being allowed to maintain their own culture. They should also have to undergo a test to be able to stay here give them 3 years to study. They should also have to learn to speak english. I think they should be able to take advantage of government programs to get on their feet, but their need should be reevaluated every 6 months just like everyone else, and they should have to participate in job searching and other classes to up their chances of being self sufficient.

There is need for adjustments, but, why should we stop others from moving here. Maybe the government could try a probational period and see how things go like they do with jobs!!! This is just my opinion.

Alot of adjustments need to be made I personally think we should give all people rights who are we to say were better than anyone ...In my eye's we are all from the same father our Lord and I ask would you discriminate against ur own brother or sister?
