I am really sorry you lost your mother in law. It really should not be this way for anyone who needs medical supplies or medicine. I have increased my morning insulin to 9 units, bringing my noon test results (this is the only time I test to save strips) not a safe thing to do with out testing..but it is all I know to do right now. My mother-in-law was a diabetic and cost of testing supplies kept her from testing as often as she should have...
She suffered many complications from her sugar levels not being under control and she lost her battle in December 2007.
I hope you get your testing supplies so you can test as often as needed and we will keep you in our prayers... (more)
