Have you tried writing to Toys for Tots or checked in with the county human services office? Sometimes if you just don't have anything, they can "find" you something. (more)
Good luck! I had a lot of friends who were in Georges years ago, and it was so hard for them. I know the federal agencies are sometimes so slow in getting aid to those who really need it.
I could, you know, send a care package... I have a lot of clothes that my son has outgrown, and some general all-purpose things like sweaters and blouses and shirts and stuff. (more)
