Since my late teens that is all I could wear, totally flat. Even 1/4 inch rise or heel would cause such pain and my balance was all messed up. I usually wore what my mom called "granny shoes" you know those cheap $3 canvas tennis shoes. My feet are large too and that was always a problem. I wear an 11 in a womans shoe and 9 1/2 in mens. Now that my feet are changing due to ligament problems and that bone piece sticking out the side of my foot I just can't wear anything but slippers. (more)
