I have contacted a local agency called a CSSS (center for health and social services) which has given me access to a social worker and a psychologist for free. I have left my home for an appointment with the psychologist at her office and took a city bus which is a huge deal for me.

I have seen my doctor and gotten back on medication due to my mothers help. I now have a months supply of Celexa, Seroquel and Prev Acid. The doctor is referring me to a psychiatrist at the local mental health institution which is near my home. She is conacting them personally to get my case pushed through as quickly as possible. She also put me on a program to get free anti depressants. I have another appointment March 13th with her to follow up on my case.

I learned that my medical insurance from work got cancelled. I have gotten back on the province's public medical insurance.I registered myself for a program to that specializes in getting people with mental illnesses back into the workforce or in school.

I have taken the first step to resolve the financial mess today. Went with my social worker to EI (Employment Insurance) to find out what needs to be done to straighten out my file. I need a medical note, a letter from my psychologist, and a letter from Welfare to receive the rest of the money they owe me. Once that is done we have to go to Welfare and sort out that file. One step at a time, but this is good since it means by the end of the month I should have money coming in from somewhere.

I have e-mailed several groups and organizations and am getting replies to my requests for help.
