a new home in my current neighborhood, I hate leaving people
I know this is an outlandish amount, but it is my wish and dream. I am a new auntie mom and my child needs a place of his own, with a yard. He has special needs and because of that he cannot go just anywhere to play. I also am disabled and because of it I have some limitations with going a lot of places. I have served the community for at least 10 years and have not complained, because I love it, and will continue. Yet I have a need that I can not meet especially as an Americorps member. I am willing to pay it forward as life and time progresses. I am honest and hardworking and I want what's best for my boy. |

Really folks I am needing to take a break. I am fulltime caregiver to my Mother. She is a wonderful lady,but I still need a break. I have been divorced from this idiot for nearly 10 years. Believe me,after the way he crapped on my lil ole heart, I was totally off men or relationships. Well...now I have met this wonderful man in a group on the internet. He laughs a lot and I need the laughs in my world. Now that I met what seems to be a good man and a decent human being ,I would like to meet him in person. But I do have to hurry,as a dozen other hussys are also after him. I promise this would be a totally innocent encounter, really no kinky ideas here,just plain old friendship. Arrrrgh...My neck always jerks when I lie and it really hurts. Anyway I was thinking if I get to Georgia,just maybe I could cook a nice dinner for him, give him a nice friendly massage and then come back to my bleak and pitiful existence in the desert. Why I don't even need any clothes for this trip...I already have a nice suit ,a little wrinkled to be sure ,but still serviceable. Again ladies and gents,this is a matter of great urgency. A Washer and Dryer
I am in desperate need for a washer and dryer. The washer I have is almost over 10 yrs old and the dryer belonged to my mother before I was even born and i'm 32! I know its's sad that I haven't bought one but I don't have the funds to buy a new set. The washer I have the knobs are broken. I am having to stand by the washer to make sure the cycle goes thru. I am constently having to turn the knobs my self for the washer to go to rinse cycle and spin cycle and continue to move the knob so the spin cycle is done. I also have to be prepared with towels because it leaks! I have water running out from the bottom of the washer everytime it's in the spin cycle mode. My son is only 3 but knows when to bring mommy towels to catch the water before it goes all over the house. And as for my dryer the knobs are broken and has only one setting dry, no fluff no timmer because it's broke! And it usually takes any where from 6-12 hrs just for a load of laundry to dry and thats only my kids clothes I cannot dry my reg clothes or towels cause it will take even longer. I pray for no rain so I can hang my clothes out on the line. But lately with our crazy Texas weather we get rain. We we do have extra money I try to wash what I can and we take to dry but thats just more money we don't have. So please if you read this vote for me and to be honest I know I have another wish on here but instead of my pawn items I would rather have the funds to purchase a washer and dryer. Waahhh! My Laptop to get the hook up.. (2nd try)
Well, I am wishing again to fix my broken Laptop because I dont want to share the PC with my kids or my husband anymore!! I want to be able to get online whenever I WANT! I want it fixed so I can use it in my bed and even if I want to use it in the bathroom!! It has been broken for about 5 months now and I just cant take it anymore!! my three daughters to get new glasses and braces they need.
I have been very ill over the last few years an illness called Sarcodosis and my three children have sufferd because of it all of my medical bills we have no optical insurance and very little dental coverage, two of my girls need braces very badly and my oldest needs new glasses so bad she has not had a new pair or an optical exam in three years she has had a lot of head achs and is struggling at school because of it. Please help me to make there lives a little better, they have been a lot happier because my illness is in remission and back in 2005 I was so ill they though I was not going to make it, They are such good girls and have been so helpful and deserve so much more than I am able to give them right now. I would also like to say that if my wish is to extreem I will understand and anything would be so helpful for my girls like I said befour they have been through so much upset over the last few years, they are 13 , 10, and 7 years old. My friends baby was born a month early and has gone through so much she will be haveing her third surgery on Friday and they are living about three hours from the hospital were she is they need the money to be down by the hospital. The hospital has not given them a time of the surgery so they need to be as close as they can be please help them. |

Help with preemie baby things
My girlfriend and I justt had our baby 7 weeks early. I am 23 years old and just moved from NY to Florida. I am just starting out as a laboror and I am paycheck to paycheck. My girlfriend is 36 and has 3 children 8,12,& 16. She has not been able to work since we got to FLorida because she is not well. Our baby girl weighs 3 lbs and everything that we did get won't fit because it is all to big. We only have one car and I work in Leesburg, we live in New port Richey and The Baby is in Tampa. One credit card payment.
We've had credit card debt for almost 5 years. We were out of debt in 2001, then we moved 2000 miles for a job that "downsized" me 4 months later. My husband went to a vocational school (which we paid for with the credit card) so that he would have a decent job by the time my unemployment ran out. I was unemployed for almost 6 months when I found a job back in Michigan. All of that added up to a pretty huge debt. |

Keep my premature baby alive.
** YESTERDAY, at 28 weeks, my water broke, I am about to have a very small preemie.Our little boy is hanging on for dear life. After being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, and having a miscarriage, my husband and I were very surprised to find out that I was pregnant. At 10 weeks I started to bleed and have cramping, obviously I was under the impression that I was losing this baby too. I went to the hospital and was told that I was not pregnant, and that I wanted to be so badly, that my body was experiencing symptoms. They refused to double-check the test, so I was left to think that I was totally crazy, and taking pain killers and anti-depressants that the E.R doctor had prescribed me. |

A NEW COMPUTER FOR FINANCIAL REASONS
I am needing a new computer, so that I can continue to sale stuff on ebay and help my husband support our children. He works very hard 6 days a week and seldom has time for himself. I could use the computer I have now but it is so old and slow that it takes hours just to list a few items on ebay. I can not afford to drive the 70 miles a day round trip, plus daycare to get a job that would only cover my gas and child care. I am willing to even settle for a good used computer, I just need something other than the emachine that I have. I have had nothing but trouble with it since I bought it. If I had a faster computer I could list more items on ebay and sale more making more money to help out. maybe if I can get another computer and make a little more money we will be able to afford to have a evening out for a change.. |

Another try for a tune up on my 1994 Dodge van
I live in west Texas where the nearest grocery store and medical services are in the next two towns. I am caregiver to my 78 year old ( or should I say rockin young) Mom. My old van has many miles (190K) on it and is in need of a little repair. Sometimes on the way to Mom's medical appointments in Colorado City, I have trouble getting the old wreck to start. The van,not Mom. Anyway, I asked at the only repair place there and he says I just need a tune up and it will cost $160 plus tax. I could deal with no wheels,simply hit I-20 and hitch a ride to town, but my Mom can't get around too well and I would never let her hitch-hike. So that's the fact. Just need a tuneup so I can get the basic neccessities for me and Mom.Thanks for reading or considering my wish. |

Caregiver needs one day off !
I am just being totally selfish here. I so need one day off and think I deserve it! For the past 5 years, since my Mothers health problems began ,I have been her sole caregiver. I love her and feel it is an honor to be able to help her in any way I can. But the fact is ,I am exhausted ,stressed and sick myself. I have MS and Lupus, both of them are whipping me physically and emotionally as well at times. I have had 2 breaks in this time. Once when Mom was in the hospital with a heart attack and once when I was in for a 10 day round of treatments for the MS. Right now my normal day begins at 6 a.m. and includes,all of Mom's personal care,housework,laundry,shopping and medical appointments. I spend Mom's nap time on the computer. Normally get to bed about 11 and get up anywhere from 3 to 6 times a night to help Mom into the bathroom,etc. A lot of people have told me to just put her into a nursing home. That is not a decision I can in good concience make. She is old and ill ,not disposable. |

a good used Van so all my babies can go to park together
I am in desperate need of a van, something that will seat at least 7. I am raising my grandchildren, on a 24/7 basis I have three a boy who is 5, girl who is 3 and a girl who is 4 months,. My oldest daughter just recently moved back home with her two other boys, and every other week when she is gone with her youngest I have the 2 yr old 24/7 and she is also 15 weeks pregnant and they found a spot on the babies heart. She was in a bad relationship with a crack head that totally messed her up, emotionally she is really bad right now, My youngest daughter (Bi-polar and manic)and my son are also living at home, Just a few weeks ago and after 28 years of marriage I find out that my husband wants a divorce, When my husband left so did his va and social security. Some kind of middle aged crisis he claims. We are living in a 3 bdroom and a closet converted into a room which only fits a twin bed. And 1 bath room house. My oldest daughter and her youngest sleep in the living room, she sleeps on the couch he sleeps in a playpen, my other 4 babies sleep in a room together, my youngest daughter sleeps in the converted closet, my son has a room just a bit larger than that, and I have my room, but since my husband left I usually will lay in bed with one of the kids or in my recliner it gets very crowded at time but my main problem as of now is ?transportation? I drive a 97 chevy cavalier that only fits three car seats in the back seat. So when we go anywhere I have to pick and choose who goes, and when everyone is sick, I have to choose the three that are the sickest to take and then come back and make an appt for the other 2. I need a ?VAN?, it does not have to be a new one/ We can not go on any trips together, my grandson is graduating head start on May 11, and only a few of us are going to be able to go. We are getting by on 860 a month and that does not go far supporting 9 people It would be nice to load everyone up and even go to the park together in one trip. Happy Music with my Kids
My son has had several guitars, but none of them have ever been real, with the exception of his latest one, the First Act Flamed Guitar. This one however is real hard to keep in tune due to the cheap way it is built. Of course First Act is a great company and do build some good quality guitars, but this one is the entry level. My son loves music, and he shows a real aptitude toward rhythm and a desire to play. He has had his eye on this electric guitar for some time now. |

My family and I recently adopted a Bull Mastiff from a family who no longer had any time for him. Tonka is 2 1/2 years old and we just found out that he has Entropian. Entropian is the inward rolling of the eyelid, so his eye lashes are constantly scrathing his cornea, causing a lot of pain. Our vet highly recommended surgery for him. Although it is a simple surgery, the cost is $780, and financially, my family can not afford it. I live with my mom and my 2 younger brothers. My mom and I are both in school for nursing, so money is very tight. I have been looking around for other prices but have not found any much lower. Any referrals of veternarians in RI or CT would be greatly appreciated. |

An Axle & 2 Wheels For My Truck
I really need an axle and 2 wheels for my truck so it will work again. The pic's not the best, but the rear axle is busted, and the back wheels fell off :o. I thought about putting the truck up on cement blocks in the front yard, but figured it'd be more productive to get the parts I need, fix it, and get it back in working order. Having a progressive, terminal illness (Primary Pulmonary Hypertension) has completely changed my life. Most physical activity leaves me extremly short of breath and with severe chest pain. Walking, even a short distance, is almost impossible. I am no longer able to work outside of the house. A memorial Plaque for my Father
My father Edward Bailey SR was diagnosed with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in July 2006, after a bought of being very sick for quite awhile, and his doctor never did do any tests to find out what was wrong. However, when he was admitted the 2nd time to the hospital the doctors there found the advanced cancer; the doctor from the Hospital called me and told me my father had stage 4 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer the type caused from not smoking. My father passed away May 5th 2007; just ten (10) months after his diagnosis. I would like to get a memorial plague for his memory, and to place by or on his Urn. I also was not able to pay in full for my dad's cremation, so I am still paying on that, but my father deserves to have a memorial Plaque. I also would like it to show Lung Cancer Awareness, so others will learn about Lung Cancer and the early warning signs. |

Funds to travel interstate to see my terminally ill Dad
I had to give up work in December 2006 due to rheumatoid arthritis. I have no savings left and live payday to payday. My Dad has been very ill for the last 3 years and is now nearing the end. School is out for Summer and as a Single Mother who recieves absolutly NO child support I have to work full time to keep me and my children a float. I am unable to afford any extras for them, and they never complain. We have been members of the Community pool now for a few years and I just can't afford my yearly dues this year. My children are so very disappointed and have been looking so forward to going this year. This is my last try, I lowered the amount hoping it would help. I jus want one one weekend to be just a grandma, not a disciplinarian, I want to rent a van and take my babies to the park, to the zoo, take them fishing, feed them junk food, spoil them rotten, let them have their way (mostly) without worrying about how this is going to affect them later on in the week. To tell them yes they can stay up late . to tell them Yes they can have chocolate cake for breakfast and drink soda pops all day. To take them to get ice cream and let them have as much chocolate syrup on it that they want. To sit up late with them watching movies and eating junk food till they fall asleep all around me on the couch. I just want to be a real grandma for one weekend. Please help me achieve this wish. We live practically in the middle of nowhere but the trip will be worth it. |

When my father was in the nursing Home, and I would go and visit him, I noticed that none of the other residents got visitors. They always flocked around me and my children because they were lonely. So what I do now is go each Sunday, and I read to as many elders that want to come and listen. I would like to start making each of them a blanket there are 240 residents, and I would be done in time for Christmas if I got started by the end of July. I want to make some lonely elders feel loved and cared about, by giving them a Christmas gift that they would not get other wise. I know that my father was abused/neglect in the nursing home, and I know so many more are as well. I advocate for many of these elders. |

An Electric Teakettle for Dee Dee
Dee Dee has a LOT on her plate right now. She is on disability and is fighting cancer, supporting friends and family members, and maintaining a marriage. On top of that, her stove and oven don't work. I think life is difficult enough when things at home work smoothly. Obviously Dee Dee has other priorities, which is great, but I would like to be able to give her an electric kettle so she can relax with hot drinks when things get to be a bit much. I've taught stress management quite a bit, and one of the things I emphasize to clients is self-nurturing behaviors. Dee Dee seems to have many positive attributes that help keep her going, but as her friend, it's hard to stand by and not doing anything to make her life better. This wish is my little attempt to improve her quality of life in my own way. Granted by Me! Silicone Ice Cube Trays!!!
My new place doesn't have an ice maker. I have a really hard time getting the ice cubes out of the standard ice trays I bought. For one, I don't have the strength in my hands and wrists to twist the trays, and for 2, the twisting motion hurts my hands and wrists. If you watch the video, that's about how difficult it is for me to make ice cubes! I'd like to replace the ice cube trays I have with silicone trays because they're much more flexible and will be easier for me to handle and get the cubes out of. After having very hard time and losing everything I'm getting a place to live soon I applied for HUD and I pray to get my apt as soon as next month I hope so! is very hard to jump from one place to another and I don't like to bother, I'm old and be in one place 1 month and in another one the next month is very stressful , I need some help with the deposit for the electricity and I will need a bed and the basics... In 1995, something horrible happened in my hometown. From Kathy Cremin's Blog on MySpace: I don't quite know how to start what I want to be said here. But I am going to try. Over 12 years ago, I had a happy little family. I had a good job. My children by all aspects were happy, well adjusted kids growing up where their parents grew up, in Somerville, Massachusetts. Although I had the regular concerns any parent of active teenagers does, murder was not remotely in my thoughts. My concerns lied in their personal and emotional health. Their education, and their drug awareness. Their social activities and personal friendships did not raise any red flags for what happened. March 30, 1995 is a day that I dread to remember. But I can relive it several times a day second for second. My beautiful daughter had been strangled to death and I did not know what to do. I had no idea how to handle this and live at the same time. There is no relief to this grief. I live with it. Her dad lives with it. My daughter and my two sons live with it. I think it is our love for one another that helps us to move on in our lives. When I look at my children and I appreciate so very much, how very proud I am of them. How very much I love each one of them. How I wish I could do away with all the evil in this world so it won't come near them ever again, it is a very scary and strange feeling. Because no matter what,I am always afraid something bad will happen. When things are at their best,that fear is always ever looming over. Yet, I can't let it defeat my, or anyone in my family's dreams, endeavors, and pursuits for success and happiness... I almost lost everything with meaning after Deanna was murdered. And I would have if I had continued to let grief control my life. I chose to let the love inside and surrounding me be my guide. I am so grateful to have what I have. But I will not just slide back and let Deanna's murderer not be pursued. I think we can all help this quest for justice. Financial Assistance for Medical Bills & Home Repairs,$2,200
I’m a pretty resourceful guy on perm disability, and I normally do my own home repairs, and even help my neighbors with theirs. Recently though, I was sawing the trim on my home, and the saw jumped and almost cut off the end of my right hand middle finger from the tip of the finger nail all the way back to the first finger joint.Thougyt for sure at the time I' lose the compete end of finger and so did the ER doctor after she l;ooked at the exays. I had to go to the Emergency Room for treatment and see a specialist. Hey my name is Alanna I am 23 and I have a dog, Shadow, who helps me with my disabilities. I am looking for help to put him through training before I go to my new home with other people. Canadian law states that a service dog must be tested and certified provincially to assure public access. I don't have the money to do it because I am on disability. the reason I am asking so much is because I have two ways I can train him. I can either take him to a place that does it and he would go there once a week for at least 8 weeks, but I don't have a car and need the extra money to get him there. the other way I can go is to have is to have a trainer come to me, the best price for an at home trainer is more than $450. so this is for all you people out there to give you a little bit more of an idea on my wish and why I need this. if you have any ideas please let me know, I will be very pleased with your help. |

My dad is a wonderful man. He took care of my mother night and day after her first stroke. I think her death in 2004 was shocking to him. He never believed she would not be there. In 2006 I got a call from my sister to tell me that dad was on his way to a hospital in Atlanta with an infection around his new pacemaker. The thing that stressed my sister out the most was that a strange woman had called her to inform her.
