Hi everyone! Please know that I have tried to get help on this before wishing. I don't want to seem selfish. Thanks also to the many here who tried for me. For those of you that do not know me or Macy, I would like to explain why this is so pressing. A week before Christmas, we were shattered when we found out that Macy was diagnosed with a terminal illness called Mitochondrial Disorder Complex I. It is an extremely rare, progressive & dibilitating disorder in which there is no known cure or treatment. Most children do not live to see their teenage years. She has been severely crippled since she began walking & draws badly. This is very painful for her.

Macy is recovering from a June 8th surgery (leg muscle stretches & clipped her heal cords). She is in casts to waist & is going to require extensive auquatic therapy. She has taken the therapy before & it worked well. It is more intense therapy for severe cases of crippling & spasms of the muscles which regular therapy can't control. It consists of 30 minutes of exercise in a hot jet tub to relax the muscles then a follow-up 30 minutes of exercise in a pool. Then the cycle is then repeated. This is most effective if done twice daily. The closest aqua therapy center is over 1 1/2 hours from us, so this is going to make things very difficult for me. Gas is so expensive now, that I can't afford to drive this far every day.

My doctor suggested that since I had been through the water therapy before & was fairly experienced in the technique, that I may consider doing the therapy myself & following up with a regular PT in order to determine if it is working. If I did this, I would require a jet tub. We tried the type that you add to your own tub, but it was not a strong enough force & in my little tub, she did not have enough room to do the leg kicks. In addition, my doctor had a fit because he feels these types of temporary jet substitutes are dangerous for a child the way they are made. I have a her a little pool so am in desperate need of a jet tub. I found one for $400 & have $50 of it. I tried to get insurance to cover it, but they refused. I chose this song, because my greatest wish, is to one day see Macy dance :) I would appreciate your support deeply:

3RD TRY!! The baby won't stay in incubation much longer...my sis n' law's belly is running out of room and the timer is about to go off!!
Due to medical emergencies with my 12 yr old requiring hospitalizations and testing for extreme migraines as well as what appears to be seizures, we have had to spend the Florida fund we had saved up to be in Florida for the birth of my first nephew. With the time off my husband had to take while I stayed with our daughter. We still are having to go back frequently for meds and more testing. With that and the minivan falling to pieces and my husband and oldest son breaking their hands... I just can't catch up.

Now we have to collect enough funds to get to Florida from Indiana by July 31st. My brother has been there for all the births of my 5 children. He never let anything come between him and his welcoming the baby of the day. So, I can't let anything get between me and is new son. They have sadly lost one child and to us little Jacob is a miracle baby. If you can PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE donate or help in any way you can.

PS UPDATE... My son's (7) hand is healing well.. but he fell out of a chair checkin' out 2 cute lil girls over the weekend....gashed his head ended up in the ER. They have glued my lil Humpty back together.. he's gonna make it!! lol But I don't think he's gonna be checkin out any hot chics soon!


~*~Please watch the video I have attached. This is of 2 year old Trenton Duckett who is missing from Leesburg, Florida. @ weeks after his disappearance his mother committed suicide. On Aug 10 he will turn 3 ... on Aug 27 it will be 1 year since he's been gone. Take a good look...have you seen him? I ave watched this case from the beginning and I'll never give up on his homecoming. I am also going to dedicate my picture his .. help me get the word out by reading about this case and looking for him with your eyes too. Hey my name is Alanna I am 23 and I have a service dog...i am looking for help to put him through training before I go to my new home with other people...but I dont have the money to do it because i am on disability but they will give me so much per month to use for my service dog but after waiting months and months for an answer or for money to show up they call and finally tell me that I need a certificate saying where he has been trained...But i cant find a place that will train my dog...if you have any ideas please let me know...i will be very please with your help...

We are a family of 5 including twin girls that are 10 and a boy that is 2. The girls birthday is coming up in July and they have NEVER been on a vacation. The only place they've been is a one day trip to six flags and that was with my parents. We are wanting to take them to a real vacation this year and we have a little money saved but still need about 500.00 to be able to do it. We're looking into going to Holiday World in Santa Claus Indiania and getting a hotel for the night since they've never stayed in a hotel either.
Can you please help us to make this wish come true for the kids? I would hate it if they never got to go on a vacation with us.

Hey everyone.. my 3 year old lil boy Zaylan had a very freak and tragic accident 5/21/07. His dad was cutting grass and Zaylan had went up behind him and was gonna tell him we were back from the store. Zaylan was trying to grab onto the back of the lawnmower and slipped on a rock causing him to fall and his hand went under the riding mower. he lost his thumb and 3 of his other fingers. Leaving only his index finger. I totally freaked as did Jessie. I was screaming so loud but it seemed like no one could hear me.. Finally our friends across the street came running. They called 911 but it was like it took them forever to get here. As we franticly waited on the ambulance Jessie laid with him on the porch and was holding pressure on his hand and his knee. The neighbors and I combed the back yard to see if we could find my poor lil baby's fingers. My dad found the first one and he totally went crazy. a few seconds later a neighbor found another. We were told by the EMD on the phone not to put his fingers on ice. Why I have no clue but as soon as the paramedics and police arrived they told us to do it but then they talked to EMD and were told the same thing.. Anyway as they put Zaylan in the ambulance they statred the IV with morphine. They had him in there for what seemed like forever trying to assess things and clean up the injuries as much as they could. We were then told they were taking him to a landing zone at Bessemer City High School and from there he would be airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center. We weren't allowed to ride in the helicopter with our son, which really made things harder for us because you could hear him asking for his mommy and daddy. I'm sure what happened may have put him into a state of shock but he was a fighter and i am so proud of my baby boy. When we arrived at CMC they had already cleaned the fingers and put them on ice. The ones that were found were thumb and pinky. The middle and ring finger were cut at the top joints. After hours of surgery they were unable to reattach the other fingers. they had to do a skin graft to cover where the thumb was. We are trying to raise the money for him to get a prosthetic hand. So hopefully you all can help us make our wish come true..
