this is my 8th try!!!! ):
I would like so much to be able to get a toddler swing set for our precious little grand-daughter for Christmas.
She is a 'special needs' toddler and she needs this to help with her coordination and motor skills. The set in the picture is the best one that I could find, and I found it at Walmart....

She was born with 'abnormalities' and has been through pure hell and torture since the minute she was born. She will be 2 yrs. Old in a few days and is still undergoing treatment for her 'abnormalities' (there is a medical term for what she has but I can not pronounce it let along spell it!!!, lolol). She has huge cyst inside and outside her body. These cyst are made up of 1,000's of micro-scopic cysts. She was in the hospital for 4 months after she was born hooked up to all kinds of equipment and monitors; trach, breathing tube, feeding tube, ect....

She is doing much better now, but she still has a long way to go. I just want to get this swing set for her in hopes it will help her with her motor, and coordination skills.

The star I want to follow this Christmas won't lead me to Christ's stable in Bethlehem. It is Polaris, the Northern Star, and I want to follow it home.

I have been trying over the past few months to arrange for a long overdue family reunion. The original goal was for about a week from now, when my older brother would be in Timmins anyway. Unfortunately, even if we had raised the money, August has proven impossible, as my contact working for the cadet summer training centre won't end until 2 days after Thom leaves Timmins. SO the goal I am setting is getting the family home for Christmas, just like we used to do. It has been too many years since we've all been together, and after recent events (if you know, you know, but I don't want to use this as a promotional tool) we're really needing to be together as a family.
Also, this will be the first time I bring my Ellen home for Christmas. I'd really love for her to fully experience a Hutchison Christmas, with all of us present. For those of you who don't know, Ellen is my 42, my meaning of life, my other half.
So what do you say, 10 times a charm?

So Today I am tearing it up and throwing it out the door.
When I get done I will be walking on plywood, But at least I can mop it.
My wish is for carpet or floor tile for my living room.
I dont even care if I have padding for the carpet, I just want something clean.
I have shampooed until the carpet is bald and falling apart.
Its ugly and dirty and has got to be replaced.
Lowes sells floor tile reasonable and commercial carpet is reasonably priced too, So if anyone has lowes gift cards they dont need I could definatly use them.
Winter will be here before long, Without carpet its going to be very cold. I have a few throw rugs I can put down and I will probably paint the plywood until something better comes along. But GodOnly knows I can't replace the floor without some help.
So please consider helping me make my living room clean again.
I Went to lowes and stared at all the tiles and carpets, Checked the remnant bins and could not afford to buy it. Its very depressing to know that most people can say thats what I want and walk away with it. Instead I say I have too many bills and not enough cash to do what I need to do. And my credit is shot. I took out a motgage with a shady bank that is killing me with intrest, Then add a personal loan to that at a whopping 25 percent intrest. Needless to say my husband is the only one working ( I am looking for a job But being unemployed for the past 6 years is throwing a wrench in the process) And we are supporting out 2 kids at home and half way supporting our daughter and 2 grandbabies, Because their daddy got fired. There is no money for Carpet, tile or anything of that nature.
We bought this carpet used about 7 years ago, It has been very well used by my family and my sons friends. It has got to go.

we had to replace one tire when I hit a rock and had a blow out. we found that all the tires are shot.
there was a nail puncture in one, and the other two are cracked. many of my medical appointments are 105 km away, plus I have 3 weekly appointments in town. if we can have two good tires, we can save up for another two. I hate to ask for help, but I am on a small pension that doesn't cover my medical expenses.

He came in a few weeks ago telling me Santa Claus took his bike and was bringing him a new one.Its hard to understand him because he has a speech delay but eventually I figured out that his bike was gone from our backyard and had been stolen. Although what he still thinks happened is that Santa took it so he can bring him a new one. Guess hes watched The Grinch one too many times don't ya think!

It wasn't that great of a bike just a small 12 inch for little kids. I can't believe someone would take it. We've looked all over and can't find it so that must be what happened.
My wish this week is for 60.00 to purchase him a new bike so he can ride with his sister and the neighbor boys. My husband was just getting ready to take the training wheels off so he could learn how to ride without them before school starts. :0(

Hello, I would like to thank those who have voted on our last wishes. I'm putting our wish up again today, for our two awesome kids, our son just turned 12 and our daugther is 15 and a 1/2. As many of you know my husband Tom has cancer and I have Lupus. Our kids have been through so much as a result of our illnesses and other unfournate thing that have happend to us over the last few years. Our kids never ask for much, all they want is for there wonderful dad and I to feel better and not have to worry about so much. (I really wish each and everyone of you could meet our kids.) SO... I want to do something for them, while they are on summer break, they deserve to do something special, I would like to take them to the Lake Erie Islands, including Port Clinton Ohio and Put in Bay Ohio. There is a "African Sarfari" there that allows you to drive your car through while the animals come to your window to eat. I know that they would love this, especially our 12 year old son. The admission is 16.95 a person. I am asking for $200.00 because we would like to stop off at put in bay ohio (a island) and this would include Ferry tickets to and from the island, golf cart and wheele chair rental, and then gas money and maybe dinner on the way home. You can look at both of the places mentioned above, they have websites.

I hope that you will vote for our wish and help me give my wonderful kids a day of fun and relaxation. I also know that it wouild be a good thing for my husband, it would help him relax and keep his mind off of things too.

Hey Friends, We need your help!!! On Sept 28th, we will be traveling to The Toledo Hospital
so that both Tessa and Joe can have some major tests and precedures done. These procedures
are necessary and part of a prevention. You see, the type of cancer that Tom has, is hereditary
and the kids need to be tested. Our kids are 15 and 12. These tests and procedures are quiet
tramatic for there ages and I'm so sorry they must go through it. But early detection is the best way to cope with such a disease.

We are wishing for help with expenses that will have with this trip. The medicine that they need to take before the procedure, (It is OTC but expensive) Gas to and from Toledo (1.5 hours each way) Parking Garage, LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of COFFEE FOR ME...lol and I would like to take them out for dinner on the way home as they will have not eaten since the previous day. The kids have asked me not to list the procedures they are having, so if you need more information please email me. They want that to be private. We could use all of your help with voting,and would be very grateful if we could get some help promoting this wish. It is the only one that I'll be wishing for!!

I know, I know ... I said I wasn't going to wish anymore. But this is for my SON and I can't let him down anymore.
I am a wife and mother. I have a 17 year old son and I am disabled and have been for most of his life. There is very little we can do together due to my disability. If we had a car that would run, ours broke down after so many band-aids being placed on it that now it is irreparable, then we could go places together and do things that Moms do with their sons. Even if it is just a ride around the Peninsula. It doesn't have to be a brand new car, just one that is reliable and will hold my wheelchair. I am not concerned about how it looks, or what make it is ... although an eco friendly one would be best. I would love to have a car that ran on a renewable fuel source.
My Son loves nature if we could get there we could spend the whole day together cleaning up the Erie Peninsula and helping the environment while spending QUALITY time together.

My husband's grandfather is dying of cancer (multiple myleoma - stage 3). He has 6 months to 1 year to live. He has NEVER seen our daughter (who is now 1)..we normally go visit once a year, after our income tax return, but I'm afraid that may be too late. Of course, he is unable to travel to us. This year we didn't get to visit, because the motor in our van blew up - now we have to rent a car (we don't have a car now), as well as pay for gas expenses, food, and a motel room...if it's even for 2-3 days - it's 2-3 days we wouldn't get to spend with him otherwise. His fear (as well as ours) is that he won't get to see his great granddaughter for the first time, or his 3 great grandsons, before he passes. I'd really love to be able to surprise my husband, and tell him we can visit PA before it's too late. With our low income family - there is no way we can come up with the extra money to go.

I asked once for just a light box, and was giving suggestions on where to go for help. I did just that and I found out that a light box is not my only problem...

My camera is so old that a light box won't help...

I found a pattern to make a light box from my local TECH school, but I still need to buy the materials and a new camera.

I found a camera at Wally World and it's $149.00.. My mother-in-law said she would help me with the rest if I could get the bulk of it....

Please the holidays are coming and I need to be able to sell some of my jewelry, but without a new camera my photos do not show the detail involved in every piece that I make.

I am making this wish for an amazing friend on here. She is on the quiet side and you never hear her complain or get caught in the drama. She is kind and I would love to see her get this. I do not think it is too much to ask for. If we can help her think how much she can help her family...

I love to sew. I learned at a young age how to make my own clothes and blankets . I want a sewing machine more than anything i have ever wanted for myself. Its my dream to take my kids baby clothes and turn them into quilts for each of them. It does not have to be anything fancy just a simple machine. Working with my hands helps keep me busy and keep my mind on an even keel. I tend to get depressed and it always helps when i have things to work on and keep me occupied.

We have stood behind him and loved him and tried all we know to help him, even as he was being verbally and emotionally abusive. He is also a habitual drunk driver. Things got much worse about 3 mths ago. The money was always gone and the abuse escalated to physical abuse. That's when we discovered he also had a drug addition. The boys and I stood strong, insisting he get help. He solved the problem by moving out. He feels no obligations since he does not live here. If he tries real hard he may contact the boys once a week. Which is just as well coz he stirs things up so much. I've contacted an attorney to file for a legal separation but need money to hire one..can't get any assistance because I have to claim his income as long as we're married! He's been suspended from work for rude, aggressive, hostile behavior towards his superior. He says to sue him for child support-he'll just lose his job and work for cash so there are no wages to garnish. He had only bad credit so ALL our family bills are in my name. I've always paid and on time. I wish to be able to do that yet not put the family through another major change right now. These kids have done nothing to warrant having their whole world turned upside down. I am not afraid to work. I simply wish to be gainfully employed while still giving my kids one person they can count on to be there always and continuing their home education. Home-school works well for us. 1st son @ age 23-has finished school gone to MSSU & become a certified fire-fighter-gone to Iraq for 18 mths as a tanker in Army-is now honorably discharged and establishing his fire-fighter career. 2nd son- just turned 22-is married, has 2 kids,
