Because of some genorous people on freecycle I have gotten some of the stuff that I need like a bassinet and swing and some bottles. I do however still need things like clothes for my baby and other things to take care of her. I am decreasing the amount I need and I hope that I can get some help before she gets here.

I am in need of diapers, clothes, bath supplies (soaps, lotions, powder and ect) If anyone can help please email me for my mailing address.

Here is the rest of my story for those who dont know it.


Although I am only 22 years old I have had a rough life, but because of it have been able to overcome many of life's struggles. I lost my own mother when I was but 2 years old and was sent to foster care system where I lived being shuffled around until the age of 18. Since I had never experienced a stable family I allowed myself to become involved with a man who said he loved me..but love shouldnt hurt. He beat me many many times and I stayed because I thought that he was all life had to offer. After leaving I found out I was pregnant and he convinced me to come back. I believed that I could change him, but when he beat me severely although I am 7 months pregnant, I made a run for it. I am now living with a friend trying to get into housing of my own. I was diagnosed as RH negative and put on bed rest. That means I cant work until after the baby is born. As of right now I know that she is a girl, but I have nothing for her. I have nothing for her to sleep in, no clothes, not even bottles or the bare necessities. Please help me give my baby a fighting chance in the world. I want to make life better for her....she is my legacy....
It was suggested that I add my location so I am in Northwest Indiana near Chicago. Also if anyone would like to donate I can give a p.o box address if they let me know. Thank you

The baby will be here Monday September 24th!!!! Mariah Patrice will be making her arrival!

Alrighty. I have gotten alot of what I need from members on here (at least for the first few weeks until she grows..lol) but I am still in need of wipes, shampoo, baby bath, lotion, bibs, receiving blankets and other blankets, a snowsuit, and some outfits. I also need a crib but I figure that will come in a couple of weeks or so from freecycle or something like it.

Now for those who dont know it..here is my story.

am currently 39 weeks pregnant. I just went to the dr and he told me that he couldnt deliver me right now and sent me to a blood specialist. Apparently my platelets are REALLY low 73 instead of the 140 to 400 they are suposed to be. Because I have to have a Csection the risk of my bleeding to death is a HUGE concern..so Im off for a transfusion or 10. I am nervous because they sent me to an oncologist for my blood but they assured me I dont have cancer THANK GOD!!!

I am still in need of onesies, sleepers, outfits, socks ( I didnt think of socks) a snowsuit, receiving blankets, bassinet sheets, crib sheets, diapers, wipes, lotions, baby bath.

we need a new bathroom floor our tub is about to fall through the floor and if that happens we will have no wear to bath . i have mad this a naughty wish because this is not for anyone else other then my family. my husband works six days a week to try and make ends met but we still after 6 months of our floor being like this we still don't have the money to fix it we have two small children to take care of and my hubby try his best too take care of us. i was told this should be a nice wish.

My fiance and I met while working at a restaurant in IL over two years ago. At the time I was battling to move out my abusive father?s house and my fiance was working only so he could pay for his parents to live in a motel. We quickly became attached to each other. A few months after we started dating I was finally able to move in with mom in MO. Every weekend I drove over a hour to visit my fiance. I wasn't able to spend the night, so I would leave late and get up early to drive over there the next day. His living arrangements quickly became bad, and so I convinced my mom to let him move into our basement. A few months after he moved in I found out I was pregnant with our son. After I had Jesse (our son) I worked for a few months before moving to our current residence where I attend a private university. My fiance had to live with my parents until he was able to find a job near our new place. We realized that our plan wasn't working and my mom offered to help us out financially while Rob searched for a job. He has since found a great job, but we are still living paycheck to paycheck with very little to spare.

We both have rough family history, and love each other VERY much. We are young teen parents with such passion and devotion for each other and our son. We want to be able to share that passion with our family and friends as well. As of right now we cannot even afford to be married at the courthouse. My mother cannot help us because she is now battling to get my sister out of my father?s house, and my fiance does not speak to his family due to their lifestyle choices. It is our dream to be married within the next two years. It would definitely help us financially to be married as I would be able to have insurance through his job, and we could take advantage of other benefits of being a married couple. I really would love to have a private ceremony at my campus church and then a small reception for loved ones to celebrate with us. We want it to be small, but memorable. $100 would help us out tremendously in our efforts to finally be a family.

Before we moved we bought a very cheap van, and 6 months later it is starting to die. Repairs would cost more than what we paid for the vehicle, plus a lady recently hit the front quarter panel and the now the driver's door doesn't openly properly. This is our only vehicle! We need a second vehicle before it goes out. We have no family/friends for transportation, and there are no bus lines in our small town. We just need a small used car so we can get around town, to school, and to work. We are teen parents with a one year old son, so money is very tight. Especially with me in school full-time and unable to work because of that. My stepdad can repair any minor defects on the car we buy, so it doesn't have to be perfect. A used vehicle would be a HUGE blessing to us!
