Just a little help...
Just needing a little help...and some good thoughts while you're reading. Things are hard financially with two kids in college another in elementary school, not much pay and not a lot of child support coming in. I wish I could get my oldest something nice when she graduates from college this spring, make sure she has invitations and her cap and gown, and throw her a little party. She's worked her tail off and we just don't have the funds so she can participate in the ceremony. I didn't graduate and her dad was a high school dropout. She wants to make a difference in the world. She's going to be a social worker. :) |

Seminar to boost my self employment status
I am the recently single mom of two special needs boys. My husband of ten years walked out in Sept. 06 after the near drowning of our youngest son. Zach is ten and has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, tics, bladder spasms, insomnia, severe reactions to medications, and the list continues. Riley is eight and has been diagnosed with Autism, Type I Diabetes, a Seizure Disorder, insomnia, severe reactions to medications, as well as experiencing the trauma in Sept. 06, where he slipped out of the house and we found hiim minutes later in the neighbor's pool. He was blue. I had to perform CPR until rescue teams could arrive. My husband's departure has left me with the tasks of physically caring for my children while I also try to provide for them financially. The seminar I wish to attend will further my self employment career, allowing me the freedom to work from home and around the needs of my boys. |

Hair cut and color!!
This is a purely greedy wish. I would love to have my hair cut and colored. I haven't had any spoil me time in a while and would love to go and get pampered. I have had to keep my hair short due to being on steroids and it falling out but I have been off the steroids for 3 months and my hair is finally growing!! I know that there are others out there more deserving, that is why I am placing this as greedy. Thank you all for the votes!!! |

For Aunt Dreama's wish to come true and then some
I know that me and my family are in a bad situation, but some are in far worse, and I firmly believe that Aunt Dreama and Joey are very deserving of their wishes to come true. They are truly special and caring people and I truly hope the best for them. They have all of my prayers, and I hope they have yours. If you want to donate to this wish you should donate directly to Aunt Dreama's wish for her and Joey, that way there are NO DOUBTS! I don't want to money to come to me, I know that our need is great, but I believe in my heart that hers is is greater. |

a good used Van so all my babies can go to park together
I am in desperate need of a van, something that will seat at least 7. I am raising my grandchildren, on a 24/7 basis I have three a boy who is 5, girl who is 3 and a girl who is 4 months,. My oldest daughter just recently moved back home with her two other boys, and every other week when she is gone with her youngest I have the 2 yr old 24/7 and she is also 15 weeks pregnant and they found a spot on the babies heart. She was in a bad relationship with a crack head that totally messed her up, emotionally she is really bad right now, My youngest daughter (Bi-polar and manic)and my son are also living at home, Just a few weeks ago and after 28 years of marriage I find out that my husband wants a divorce, When my husband left so did his va and social security. Some kind of middle aged crisis he claims. We are living in a 3 bdroom and a closet converted into a room which only fits a twin bed. And 1 bath room house. My oldest daughter and her youngest sleep in the living room, she sleeps on the couch he sleeps in a playpen, my other 4 babies sleep in a room together, my youngest daughter sleeps in the converted closet, my son has a room just a bit larger than that, and I have my room, but since my husband left I usually will lay in bed with one of the kids or in my recliner it gets very crowded at time but my main problem as of now is ?transportation? I drive a 97 chevy cavalier that only fits three car seats in the back seat. So when we go anywhere I have to pick and choose who goes, and when everyone is sick, I have to choose the three that are the sickest to take and then come back and make an appt for the other 2. I need a ?VAN?, it does not have to be a new one/ We can not go on any trips together, my grandson is graduating head start on May 11, and only a few of us are going to be able to go. We are getting by on 860 a month and that does not go far supporting 9 people It would be nice to load everyone up and even go to the park together in one trip. Money to move to a better place and get a better job.
The town we live in is a very small very currupt place. With very limited jobs I work as a waitress for $2.50 an hour plus tips which is normally only about $30 a day Which barely covers paying someone to take me back and forth to work. Plus i attend tech school trying to get a degree in computer specialist. Even though there are no jobs here in that field. Its not a place for raising kids. there is to many drugs and to much crime. On top of the fact that im currently Homeless living back with my parents. In a very small 4bedroom house there are 10 people living here right now. I sleep on a broke down couch in the living room with My youngest son (who sleeps in a playpen). My other 2 boys sleep in a room with my 2 nieces. I want better for my children. i want them to live in a good town where they can grow up safe and drug free. I want them to have there own bedrooms with real beds. I want a bed to sleep in. I want to give my kids every chance in the world to be somebody someday. Please help show my kids that america is a good place to live. Even if some of the towns are like 3rd world countries. |

UPDATE: I have lowered the amount needed because I have been able to sell (Finally!) some furniture and other items and that has helped with some of the bills. |

The final biopsy report came in yesterday. Though I got home too late to talk to Desiree's mother, she did leave me a message that the final biopsy report is in. Desiree will now have to have radiation treatments 5 days a week for 5 weeks. |

To Send Surprise Packages To All My GON Friends.
I have ton's to things to ship out to friends on here. Tons of belly rings.. Besides the ones people have already won and I need to ship out.. I also have lots of other goodies, that can be needed items for some, and just nice surprises in the mail for others. (Some of the goodies I have are womens clothes, baby clothes, toys, new items leftover from when I helped needy famillies for Christmas, new clothing with the tags still on them, books, kids and adults.. and tons of other odds and ends)I want to be able to collect addresses of everyone here in my friends list and send them all little surprises.. The only problem is the shipping...So I am asking everyone to help me to help other GON'ers on here.. |
