Change for the Jar

On Wednesday, December 26th, in my hometown, under the stars, and by the glistenning snow on the frozen lake, I asked the love of my life to marry me. I told her that I was so happy she would be spending Christmas with my family and I, and that there was only 1 more thing needed to make it perfect, to which she innocently replied, "poutine?"
I laughed, and shook my head no as I knelt in front of her, holding up the ring.
For the past year and a half, Ellen and I have been collecting up pennies, nickels, twoonies, what have you in a great big pickle jar. The sum of this money is what we have so far for the wedding fund. Of course, we'll be figuring out how to raise fund. We've tallied it up, and it's a pretty good start, but hey, every little bit helps, right?
We're still figuring out what we want the wedding to be, but I'd like to have the money to give my Ellen a day to remember. And I know, money doesn't buy happy memories, but it sure helps!
If, by chance, anyone would like to toss their change into the jar, my paypal is piedro101@hotmail.com

That's right, little Peter is all grown up.

Where's the adult content you might ask. Well, being an adult is about responsibility and commitment, and there's no greater commitment I can make than to give myself to the woman I love for the rest of my life.

Funeral Expense Money for Rhonda (Dreamno1) and her family

Funeral Expense Money for Rhonda (Dreamno1) and her family

This wish is for Rhonda Rice (Dreamyno1) and her family to help cover funeral expenses. While I know the award is only $100 maximum, I am asking for a minimum of $200. I have taken the info that Lisa (4Leaf) posted at the forum.

Rhonda's daughter Shannon committed suicide Saturday, November 10th at their home. She shot herself in the backyard. Shannon has been very sick for 2-3 months now and the doctors could not find a reason. She lost 30 lbs in that time, and was deathly afraid that she had cancer, although none was identified.

Rhonda and her family are extremely overwrought and overwhelmed right now. An autopsy will be done in Atlanta, and they are going to a funeral home tomorrow to make arrangements. I'll be talking to Rhonda tomorrow, probably in the afternoon/evening. I'll give her all your love, but she may not be around for a while, I'm sure y'all understand that. They are trying to come up with $3,600, which is the minimum they have to come up with for the funeral, etc. The funeral home will let them finance the rest of the amount, which is an additional $2,000. Rhonda's PayPal address is dreamyno1@yahoo. com.

Here is the name of the funeral home:

McKibben Claude & Sons Funeral Home
208 Johnson St.
Hogansville,Ga. 30230

I'm sorry I have to share this horrendous news. Rhonda is heartbroken, and Dillon does not understand where mommy is. Lisa

I came here with a WISH. Many of my friends came here to support me. They also WISH for me to once again be stable. Many of the very active members here have been very kind. I appreciate the kindness and caring. Some have been quite the opposite. But that's on you.
I am BLESSED with the greatest true freinds anyone could ever wish for! Monitarily I not blessed at all at this time. It took a huge amount of money to get a new place to live.
TODAY WE ARE MOVING. If nothing else, please pray for our safety. I honestly do not even know if I'm going to have enough to cover the gas in the moving truck. When we get there, there are still needs to get us back on our feet.
I am not more worthy than another to be granted a WISH. I am also not less worthy. I do not need advice. I have as much right as anyone else to make a WISH. I do not need to justify my wish. I do not have to appologize for being LOVED. I WISH for a financial perk to help my family in this down time.
I wish you ALL a Happy Holiday Season.
BIG props to Santana's Momma. YOU are a good person. I wish him healing, joy and advancement EACH DAY!
Peace & Bright Blessings

I'm just going to keep running this one because I lost my eyebrow ring over a week ago. It didn't have the ball in it so it ended up[ falling out giving the kids a bath or something.

I REALLY want some new body jewelry! I have numerous piercings all over my body and really want some new jewelry for them. I always lose the ball to my eyebrow ring so I really need to get a new one besides a hoop.

Don't get me wrong, I love my #48 tongue ring but I really need to have a spare. Well, the other piercings we won't get into but they need some new jewelry too.

Please help me get some new bling for my body!

I am putting this in the greedy category because a spare freezer is truly not a NEED but I truly wish we had one.

It would be awesome for us so we could stock up on our meats and freezer goods. Right now all we have is the small one that is attached to the fridge. I have had to pass up many deals on meats and freezer goods due to lack of space. I found one at Walmart.com for $158.00.
I promise to never ever put a human in the freezer or climb in it to cool myself off on the hot days and end up like Lucy in the video

Please consider voting for me and if not its ok to thank you for reading this.

Support for P.J. and bedtime book drive for local org.

If by votes this wish wins, the $100.00 will go to buy Pajama's and books for Children in Foster Care.

Please won't you concider having a Pajama Party for this wonderful organization?

We thank you so much for helping us help these children.
The Pajama Program, a 501 (c) (3) charity, provides new pajamas and new books to
needy children, many of whom are waiting and hoping to be adopted. Many of these
youngsters have been abused or abandoned and in many cases, have never enjoyed the
simple comfort of having a loving mother or father tuck them in at bedtime. Through
the Pajama Program, we hope to contribute to a warmer, more loving environment for
children when they are at their most vulnerable.
The Program, to-date, has given away more than 85,000 pairs of pajamas and 70,000
books! This is where you come in!

It?s simple to have a Pajama Drive or Event. Here?s all you need to keep in mind:

1. Pajamas need to be new and unused. Here?s what a prominent physician says:
"The clothing a child spends 8-10 hours sleeping in is
important to a child's well-being. New pajamas are a
necessary part of promoting good health and
preventing infections and disease,
as well as providing psychological benefits."
Sheldon H. Cherry, MD
Clinical Professor of Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, NYC

2. Decide for which age range you want to collect Pajamas:
a) for all sizes, Infant ? 17
b) for children from Infant ? 5yrs old
c) f or children 5yrs old ? 12 yrs old
d) for teen-age children ages 13-17 (sizes 16 and adult sizes small and medium)

Help getting a phone for my disabled mother-in-law

Help getting a phone for my disabled mother-in-law

My mother-in-law is without a home phone and we have tried to get her one in our names but the phone company will not allow use to get a phone hocked up in their house until the past due balance is paid. We can not afford to pay that bill (no one can... lol). My mother-in-law is diabetic, she is in renal failure, and has congestive heart failure. Her health is getting worse and my husband has no way to call and check on his mother and she has no way to call if there is an emergency. We want to add her to our wireless plan and get her a phone that is easy to use with large buttons. We had hoped to get her a firefly phone but our phone company no longer sells them. We found another phone that will work but it is $50 + tax and activation. If you could please vote for my wish for my mother-in-law it would mean so much to not only me but to my husband as well.

Thank you for your time and votes...

Sunshines Baby needs a puppy

Sunshine was so busy preparing for the return of her husband from overseas that she completely forgot to repost her wish for their baby. So Ive copy/pasted from her previous wish:

Kayleigh has one of theses dogs and it is her favorite thing. She has to have him to go to sleep at night. I want to get one like it for Sierra. She's about to go through lots of Dr. visits because something is wrong with her :( I think she could use something constant....these comfy cozie critters made by gund are soft and comforting. Sierra needs something comforting. Thanks for looking!
