I couldnt put in for prayers without putting in for money so I put 1.00

I am not asking for money only prayers. My surgury is on this coming Thursday to remove the cancer and see if it has spread anywhere else. I just want prayers and thats it. I am disabled and God is my strength and refuge so I do not ask for money for myself only for children in need and others less fortunate. While I dont have much I have seen here that there are many less fortunate than I. My husband left me in June for a married woman because he needed....well other sings he didnt want to stand by my during my illness or whatever this leads to after 18 years of marriage. Then he got arrested for rape. He is out on bond and still working and yet still sends me nothing but I am not asking for money here JUST prayers. Thank you in advance for all prayers. God Bless I have included a pic of me on a day when I was feeling a bit up so I fixed my hair to go to my son in laws birthday party. It was difficult to do with all the pain but God pushed me through it :) He always does. (more)

Clothes and food for abused mother of baby Alysia

This young woman was beaten seriously by her babies father as this child looked on. I am trying to help get them a few clothes and some food and help with a place to live and a vehicle. They have nothing however I do NOT put in huge amounts as greedy is NOT good. Just enough to make her life a bit easier and help heal the emotional scars. There is a debate going on about the punishment and such for people who shake their crying babies... and here are a few facts..

The consequences of giving in to a moment of anger and frustration can be devastating for your baby and for your family.

Shaking a baby for even a few seconds can leave him disabled, blind, hearing impaired or dead.

Babies' heads are large and heavy. Their neck muscles are weak and their brains are easily injured.

When a baby is shaken, his brain bounces back and forth inside his skull cavity, injuring or destroying brain tissue. The blood vessels feeding the brain can be torn, leading to bleeding around his brain and behind his eyes.

Shaking a baby can cause him to fall unconscious or unresponsive, cause him to have seizures,
cause his breathing to stop.

Shaking a baby is child abuse. One third of the reported victims die, and one third suffer permanent, debilitating injuries.

protect our children against child molesters

Report of child molestation are up 300% since 1983. It is time to take a stand and lock these people away. 1/7 boys & 1/4 girls are molested by the age of 18. 75-84% of children are molested by relatives or a familiar adult. Why should children struggle with problems for long periods of time or for the rest of there lives from problems such as; SOCIAL PROBLEMS,SELF DESTRUCTIVE OR SUICIDAL BEHAVIORS,ANGER,GUILT,MISTRUST, CONFUSED ABOUT LOVE OR RELATONSHIPS, and list goes on. Help our children put a closer to being violated. Let these people know we will not tolerate this anymore, please sign the petition to have child molester of children 13 years of age or younger be put in prison for life with no perole.

My son needs a root canal...bad!

My son is 26 and works very hard for his little family. He has had a bad tooth for a couple years now and every couple of months its gets real bad, so painful he cant function. He doesnt have insurance and really cant afford to get it pulled. It has rotted off and only the root remains. I really wish I could just give him the money to get it done but I am living on Social security and dont have anything extra to give. thanks for all your help.
