Despite a fruitless second attempt at acquiring the Enterprise's mission records, I remain steadfast in my resolve.
We have been underway for over 2 weeks now, and although we have not yet managed to complete the recovery of the data, progress has been made. Our second attempt, though still a failure, was a promising step towards our end goal. However, if our mission is to succeed, we are going to need the aid of our allies.
The records, stored on primative Digital Video Discs, are being held by a group of Ferengi calling themselves Classic Box Sets.com. Starfleet Intelligence has managed to provide us with the location of the record discs, but unfortunately these Ferengi will accept nothing less than 100 bars of gold pressed latinum in compesation. Despite the strategic information on the discs being over 40 years out of date, it remains a national treasure of the Federation, and must be recovered. I can only hope that our allies will arrive to aid in the swift completion of our mission. (more)

She deserves a break! I am amazed at what she has done with the school supplies and the families she has helped.

I am unable to help her at this time in my life, but, I'm hoping this community will see things like I see them.

This woman took the time to buy school supplies for a minimum of 8 families (one of them being mine). I don?t know how many kids that is but she posted the receipts and pics of most of what she purchased for people she will probably never meet.

I am so honored to have crossed her path. She says she followed her heart and what a heart she has. Also, she mentioned before that she was just paying it forward. Well, I do understand the feeling of paying it forward and I also understand how great she must have felt to help so many. But, I also think she is so awesome and deserves something special!

I honestly don't know what she would do with $100 right now and I really don?t care. But, I totally think she deserves to win this weeks wish and I am sure that I am not the only one who feels this way.

hi its me again im here to ask everyone to vote on this wish not for me, but for my 6 yr old. money is tight and we have been through some hard times and my son has been wonderful through all of this.

his mother has been sick for 4 months now with a blood clot in her lungs, pitutary death and heart condition and unable to work , which leave me the only income. i make min wage and cant afford to get this baby a well deserved playstation. he has helped out with many things around the house like helping with his younger brother and sister, help take care of his mom when im off at work, helped clean.

he has done most things that a 6 yr old shouldnt be doing but he has done it without one complaint. so i would love to give him the chance to be a kid again. getting him a playstation is a great start. i would love nothing more then to see him playing his play station on the weeked ends. he is an excellent student and very smart.so if you guys could help me bring a smile to his face id be forever greatful. he has ADHD but works very hard to overcome this and i would like to see something nice for him for a change.

Well you know my mom needed and MRI luckly the hospital gave it to her free. She has always been their for me she babysits my son she was there when I was depress she actually slip going down the stairs to wash my son clothes that why she needed the MRI. I really like if she can have a day to go and treat her self and even dinner , she give up her entire life for her kids. After my father left she stayed singele just to protect her girls from any perverts, she didn't want to have any upsets. Please vote for me please.. This is my second time around on the school clothes wish!.=) I thank everyone who voted for me last time!.Being new here I have already met some great people.
My wish is for clothes for my 3 kids. School is coming up fast and being a single mom with little if any income makes it hard.My daughters are so worried they are going to go to school and get teased.I am doing my best looking for resources in my area..I am more worried about my oldest who is 10.She is a bit chubby and has absolutley no jeans or pants.I have put up a thread in the forums for anyone in need of girls clothes sized 14-16.She cant fit in to them anymore and her younger sister is a bean pole and will never fit in to them So if anyone is in need check out the forums.
I remember when i was in school and how the kids would pick and poke at the less fortunate.I was one of the kids being picked on.I dont want that for my daughters or anyone else for that matter.It really is the worst thing to have to face.And with my oldest being a bit chubby it just makes it worse.She is so worried about this year. When he was 8 years old, Joshua who had been healthy all his life suddenly got very sick and went into respiratory arrest. He nearly died. Doctors didn?t know why. It took them months to discover he had a rare disorder that affected messages to his brain that control his breathing, growth & development. Now Joshua has a tube in his neck that connects with a ventilator. He can still walk and talk, but has to push around a ventilator strapped to a utility cart wherever he goes. And he needs a nurse to be with him especially when he sleeps to make sure the machines are working right.

Since Joshua needed someone specially trained to care for him, I had to learn and stay with him. I have not been able to work a regular full-time job since. Our van is the only way we can transport Joshua anywhere and has over 200,000 miles on it. We do not have the money to pay for a new one. It is only a matter of time before our van leaves us stranded. Please help us afford at least a used van one with a wheelchair lift to get his ventilator cart loaded would be the best! THANK YOU!

Prayers for my son who has a rare breathing disorder

Doctors say he's famous because he has this disorder.

Joshua feels healthy, but without his ventilator - especially when he sleeps - he would stop breathing and die.

It hasn't always been this way. Josh was born healthy. He wasn't really sick at all until he was 8.

He got so sleepy after school, I couldn't seem to wake him. Then he spiked a fever.
And when I tried to wake him with a bath, he came out and collapsed in front of me.

I rushed him to a medical clinic. They found his blood oxygen level was 50 - it should be 100.

He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital - where he went into respiratory arrest and spent 2 weeks in the PICU. He had to be revived 5 times.

Doctors could not find an illness that could have caused him to get so sick.
It took months and another hospitalization before a diagnosis was found - one so rare
only about 25 people in the world are known to have it.

It is called Late Onset Central Hypoventilation Syndrome with Hypothalamic Dysfunction.

Joshua has been featured in some local newspapers and will be the focus of a one-hour Discovery Channel documentary called "Life or Death."

Joshua turned 11 on September 19th and he is in good spirits, but he is not all that thrilled with the extra attention.

He was baptized in our church back in February - even though he has a trach tube in his neck. ###see the video###

And be sure to keep an eye out for his documentary.

If we win the money will be used toward $13,000 in unpaid medical bills or toward getting a newer van with a wheelchair lift so we can drive him around with his medical equipment.
