Hello Everyone, Thanks for coming to take a look at our wishes this time around. We are putting this wish up again, because we still have several appointments coming up. The last one as far as I know is Sept 19th, in Upper Sandusky Ohio. You can see by our past wishes and our bio, why these gas cards are so important. You will also see why we go to so many appointments. This time around is more important as any, because through my own fault, our electric bill is 175.22. You see when we had the 100 degree days, I had the a/c cranked. It is hard for me to handle hot weather, so I was in all honesty trying to make myself more comfortable. Needless to say, there will be NO MORE a/c days for me!!! LOL

UPDATE:
I lowered the amount to 50.00 because Tom has gone to one doctor's appt since our last wish
and I have gone to one also.

I was hoping that I could put this wish up and have my friends and family vote and add us to their favorites. We would also appreciate any help we can get with promoting our wish.

A Winter Coat For Our Son Joe, Please help..

This wish is for a new winter coat for our son Joe. He needs a nice and warm coat in size 14 regular or 14/16, which I think will get him through two winters. He grew over the summer
and when I had him try his on, the sleeves come up past his wrists. The zipper is also
broke in it.

4th try~ A night out for parents who lost their daughter....

Ok guys...I am putting ALL of my other wishes on hold this week because to me this is the most important of them all right now.

Update* Mom had the nerve to write and apologize for being snippy while she was here. HELLO YOU JUST LOST YOUR DAUGHTER...I think I can handle it. Her card made me cry because she was trying to comfort me...I hope that I NEVER have to know the grief that a parent goes through when losing a child.

I chose to list this in the naughty category because it isn't a NEED, but definately is NEEDED. Rich and Corrine lost thier daughter Maria on July 23rd this year. Maria was only 42 years old and as a parent you never think that you are going to have to bury your children. Maria had a drug problem in the past but had been clean for almost 3 years. She was in the process of getting a divorce from her ex-husband who orignally got her hooked on drugs in the first place when in a moment of weakness she allowed her husband to come and see her son while she was at work. She walked in from work and saw her soon to be ex and her son who is 25 shooting up herion and at that moment made the choice that would take her life way too soon. She died of a drug overdose. The next day we found Maria's son (25 years old) laying on the kitchen floor where he had overdosed. Luckily we got to him in time and were able to save his life.
The hardest call we have ever had to make was to Corinne and Rich to tell them that thier firstborn daughter was dead. They drove all night from Massachusttes to take care of Maria's final arrangements and to clean up the mess she had left behind after making her fatal choice. These are loving parents and now they are at each others throats because Corrine cannot bear to throw her daughers things away, and Rich is haunted at being in the apartment where his daughter choked to death on her vomit while in a drug induced state. These people have not had a moment to sit down and begin to grieve for thier child.
These are the type of people who will give you the shirt off thier back, knowing it is their last one and that they cant afford another. They deserve some downtime and peace in their life. Please help me help them to relax if even for just one night. (more)

Please, I am asking that you find it in your heart to simply vote for my family and I. The last 2 years have taken a toll on use and although I hate to admit it...we need help. I am a married mother of 3 boys. Our 9 year old was born with Tetrology of Fallot, which is a Congenital Heart Defect. We have gone through heart surgeries, caths, angios etc...As if that was not enough, my 6 year old was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005. For boys, the chemotherapy runs for 3 years. They start counting the weeks about 6 months after diagnosis, so we are not done with his daily and weekly chemo until February of 2009. That seems so long away. I myself have the Epstein Barre Virus, there is no quick fix for this. Rest is what will help the body cure itself. I have had an active infection for over 2 years. It causes fatigue, migraines, nausea, basically it feels like a really really bad flu...EVERYDAY.

I had to quit my job to get the care my son needed, and now to care for myself. Money has become very tight and we need help. Our bills are behind, our van payment is behind, our property taxes (600.00)are due in September, we need new tires and....whatever. I know that this wish is just for 100.00, but that would still help as something that would be coming in for us.
I am not claiming medical bills and never had. We have 2 sources of insurance, we pay a monthly premium and all. The decrease in income and the increase of expense is mostly due to the cancer that entered our lives. Occasional special diets for him depending on his counts, finding something that he will eat after his chemo since everything tastes bad afterwards and so much more, that 450 words would never allow me to convey. Some fencewire and T- posts for my horses!!!

I have leased land for my horses to live near me. I have built a shed and fenced in some of it. However, I really need some more fence and posts so I can fence in some more, so they can eat grass as soon as it starts growing. I am really strapped for cash as this would be considered an extra, but they are such good horses. They look at the big feild and I know they wonder why I don't let them go into more of it. They never complain, in fact they whinny their heads off as soon as they see me and all come running. They are the one thing I do for me. All through my life, I have had one bad turn after the next. The only thing that holds me together sometimes is my son and my horses. They are better than any therapist and listen better than any friend. I wish I could give them the world for all they give me. Pamper a Gummy Bear

We have a new Gummy Bear at our house and we just don't have the things that all well cared for Gummy's need.

Gummy Bears are so expensive these days.
They need all kinds of special equipment if you want to be able to protect and care for them properly.

You can't take them anywhere these days without tons and tons of stuff. Not to mention all the stuff they need at home to keep them happy.

Well, to be honest our Gummy is going to morph into a baby in a few months and we need a lil help getting ready for that joyous occasion.

Note: After my daughter's first ultra-sound, she decided her baby looked like a gummy bear so, that's what we've been calling her/him. :)

She did make a Wal-Mart wish list. It's huge. We were just marking EVERYTHING she'd like to have and the list is a catch-all for family, friends etc. Not something I expect to get filled here.
But, if you wanna have a look, I sure won't argue with you. LOL
