Materials to build 2 sets of stilts

I have short legs (no jokes, please, LOL) and I want to be Taller.

At 6'1 if I build stilts with the steps 24" off the the ground, than I will be 8'1. Now that ain't short.

Truthfully, I want to build 2 sets so my son and I can go walking together. I remember having a set with the steps 8' up when I was young. I would get on the stilts from the roof of our Garage. It was a lot of fun. So I want to share that fun with my son.

I am going to estimate the cost of materials because I don't know how to determine exactly what it will take until I actually start building them.

I plan to build them using 2x3 lumber, and steel straps bent to make the steps.

so, 4 8' boards and 4' of 2" steel strap

This is by far, the naughtiest wish a housewife could ever make! This would make even the cleanest housewife hot, sweaty, and downright dirty! The nastiest, dirtiest, most disgusting thought is behind this wish. It is the dirty little fantasy of wives everywhere! It is purely selfish and uninhibited filth!!!

Most housewives are ashamed to even speak of this! They cringe at the very thought of this, & dare not ask their husbands to do this.

I usually start in the bedroom, working my way to the bathroom, into the dining room, through the living room, even the laundry room and finally end on the kitchen table!

Sometimes, I do it on the front porch & occasionally, when I really get into the mood, I even end up doing it in the front yard!!! Oh, the shame!!! The very thought of it is just disgusting to most, but in the dirty little minds of wives everywhere, they know they want it!

Even grownups need toys to play with! LOL

Ok, before your dirty little minds run away with you, guess I better tell you what this wish is all about LOL

My wish is for some new, fancy cleaning gadgets/toys to make life easier! Because of Macy having surgery, I had to clean my house from top to bottom, disinfecting everything. While lugging my 4 yr old vacuum which ways more than I do up & down the stairs, this thought popped into my dirty little mind. Why not wish for some new cleaning toys?

See, Macy requires most of my time, so cleaning becomes a big challenge for me. It is a day long process when dealing with her, because I have to pretty much keep her with me at all times. Dragging her from room to room just to clean is exhausting. By the time I finish cleaning house, I am just beat!

My wish is for a dishwasher, a Swiffer, and a new "lightweight" vacuum that I don't have to break my back lugging. I thought about one of those Roomba vacuums, & as much as I would love it, the dishwasher would probably benefit me more & I will never afford such luxeries

Since we are home most of the time and Macy stays in to play, my house is a train wreck! LOL I just want something to take some of the burden off & give me a little break, so I can have a little time to myself to relax. Queen of naughty, I hope your proud LOL (more)

a headstone for my mom and dad.

This wish is for a long over due headstone for my parents. My father died in 1982 of a heart attack and my mother died in 1971 of cancer.. Me and my siblings were not able to get a headstone for them because of the cost of the funerals. they have been with out one for such along time now. and i can never afford to buy one. they mean so much to me and they have done some much for me over the years. this is the least i can do for them. the $100 is a good start. i have this friend in my area. that makes these stones.real cheap and nice. the picture in this wish is what i would love to get them. i would like a stone on there grave to show people who is buried there. there names. to be remembered. and there both buried side by side. this wish means alot to me. if i could get them one to show how much i love them. they will always be remembered with a headstone.

I am making this wish to give everyone the oportunity to use that 1 star and not worry about attacks or bullying. We all should be aloud to vote how we want and not worry about or Bullying. No matter what. So many of us do not speak our minds and do not give an honest vote out of fear.

I need lots of duct tape!

You see a typical day in my house goes like this. The 8 year old comes home from school and instantly changes clothes till it meets with her Diva style. The three year old sees her older sister changing and comes down the hallway shedding clothes as she goes on her way to her room to change like her big sister. But once there she is distracted and starts to play with her toys. Then the toddler wanders into the room and sees the 3 year old playing naked and decides that is a good idea too. And off comes everything but the diaper. So I would like some duct tape in the hopes I can keep the clothes on my kids or the heating bill is going to kill me this winter!

Oh and the $100 is to buy my three girls some winter clothes. They have outgrown their stuff from last year and need some warm clothes and jammies. So may I please have your vote for some warm clothes for my three girls?

Prayers for my son who has a rare breathing disorder

Doctors say he's famous because he has this disorder.

You can soon see him on the Discovery Channel!

Joshua feels healthy, but without his ventilator - especially when he sleeps - he would stop breathing and die.

It hasn't always been this way. Josh was born healthy. He wasn't really sick at all until he was 8.

He got so sleepy after school, I couldn't seem to wake him. Then he spiked a fever.
And when I tried to wake him with a bath, he came out and collapsed in front of me.

I rushed him to a medical clinic. They found his blood oxygen level was 50 - it should be 100.

He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital - where he went into respiratory arrest and spent 2 weeks in the PICU. He had to be revived 5 times.

Doctors could not find an illness that could have caused him to get so sick.
It took months and another hospitalization before a diagnosis was found - one so rare
only about 25 people in the world are known to have it.

It is called Late Onset Central Hypoventilation Syndrome with Hypothalamic Dysfunction.

Joshua has been featured in some local newspapers and will be the focus of a one-hour Discovery Channel documentary called "Life or Death."

Joshua turned 11 on September 19th and he is in good spirits, but he is not all that thrilled with the extra attention.

He was baptized in our church back in February - even though he has a trach tube in his neck. ###see the video###

Please keep him - and us - in your prayers!
And be sure to keep an eye out for his documentary.

If we win the money will be used toward $13,000 in unpaid medical bills or toward getting a newer van with a wheelchair lift so we can drive him around with his medical equipment.

Actually, I'm single. No way I'm wearin' a thong. But I am definitely in need of some underwear. Here's the thing. *sigh* My insane dog eats panties. Clean or dirty. She doesn't care. They're as yummy as steak to her. Wouldn't be a big deal if I put my panties away, right? Well, I learned the hard way that, while I'm sleeping, she pulls them out of the clothes baskets through the slots on the side!! I know now to keep my dirty clothes in a hamper with a LID. But, in the meantime, I have crotchless underwear...and not in a good way.

I just know I'm going to get really sick or in a car accident or something and wind up in the emergency room with a pair of panties on with big holes in the crotch. Imagine the embarrassment of my mother! :-o
