this one is really special to me.
My hubby is a one of kind guy.
Since his mom got sick, he's been caring
for his mom and dad, and he's been caring
for me and the boys too.
My hubby gets no 'him' time, and we
never get any 'me and him' time either.
I would like to have one naughty night out,
where he can forget all the stresses of his
normal day now. And the next day, I'm hoping
he will only remember what happened the night before ;)

Money to wash my DIRTY laundry!

we live do not have washer and dryer hookups.
For years, I've had to do my laundry at the laundry mat,
it makes it hard, especially for a family of 5.
There are times when we just can't afford to do

a mother daughter day out

I put this as a need because to my daughter, its a true need. My only girl turned 12 in September. We don't have much of a chance to spend any quality time together any more. My youngest son was recently diagnosed with autism and he takes up allot of my time. When we go out somewhere, I have to keep a close eye on him to make sure he doenst dart away from me or get into something he shouldnt be.

I'd like to be able to find a sitter for him for a couple hours so I can take my daughter out, just the two of us.

I'd take her to get her hair cut and buy her some girlie things. Weather it be 'starter' make up, hair things, nail polish, or some kind of craft things. We all enjoy shopping at the dollar stores, so I couple probably get her all kinds of things from there.

I'd also have to get my lil man something small so he wouldn't be too too upset over leaving him with someone else.

This is going to be a challange, but it's something my daughter really needs. She's growing up and needs some time with mom to talk about 'stuff'. (If you have kids, I'm sure you know what I mean here)

Help me make this happen for her. She's been such a great help to me with her little brother. We could both use a break and this would be ideal!

Help in moving...eviction because of sale of house

After living here for just about 6 month, the owner has decided to sell the house. She gave us 2 weeks to be out or she's going to file a court summons.

I know $100 wont pay for the move, but it sure would help us a great deal. I've found a mobile home to rent already. We just need the funds to go.

It's about an hour away from where we live now, so a moving truck would be cheaper than making several trips in someones pick up.

We'll need a deposit, first months rent, plus utility deposits, and a moving truck. I don't know how much for sure all this will cost, but I know it's more than what we have right now.

My husband was out of work for about a month. He went back to work at a new job at the beginning of December but it's taking a while to get things caught up.

The wonderful members here have helped us and have donated just over $90 so far. I am so greatful for the friends I have here. There are some awesome people here, thats for sure!

If we don't come up with enough to move, we'll have to put everything in storage and stay in my husbands big truck for a while. We could do that, but it wouldn't be the best thing for our youngest son. He's autistic and needs a routine every day. Living on the road is no where near a routine. You never know when you'll be on the road, parked at a truck stop, or even when you'll sleep. He needs a home more than anything.

No More Fighting In The Car!!!! I Need My Hair!!!

Help me save my sanity and my hair. I have two kids who absolutely drive me bonkers in the car with all of their fighting and bickering.
I am wishing to win the 50.00 of Naughty pot to use toward purchasing two Gameboy Advance SPs for my kids for Christmas. If I don't win they will still have Christmas but without Gameboys. 70.00 is more than I ever spend on one present let alone times two, which makes this wish truly Naughty for me.

The nice part of this wish is that if they get Gameboys I might actually have hair left. I can't tell you how much they fight in the car or how many times we have to pull over. What makes it really hard is that my oldest son is sensitive to sound so when they start yelling he starts yelling, pinching and banging on the window. Inevitably this also makes the baby start screaming. By the time we get home from a simple trip to the store or grandmas I am missing hair and my nerves are shot.

A GoN Retreat/Convention in the Rockymountains

I propose we plan a meeting 1 year from May: May 7th through the 10th at a mountain resort.( I chose these dates as a reference mainly because it is off peak season and rates are lower )

The plan I have so far is for 100 community members to raise enough for 4 days, (every one would take a bus, train or airplane) transportation to Colorado. We would rent 4 busses to transport guests from the airport to the Resort. They wouldn't have to come for the entire 4 days, some could come just a couple days. We would have a true Dinner Party and a night of Partying.

Raise money for 100 people to meet (more could come but accomidations are difficult to find for more that 100) We could choose a place that also has a city near by that has hotels.
If people don't mind sharing rooms,it could be affordable

The time is getting very very close. I am due Feb 14th and they say if I have not delivered by Feb 7th they will make
plans to induce labor. So I know without a doubt baby will be here in no more than 6 weeks and 3 days. I am starting to panic.
My mom was going to have a baby shower for me but it did not work out, she has been having a lot of problems lately.
I am still working on getting a crib mattress, Infant car seat, Diapers, health and bathing needs, DIAPERS & WIPES, and things
like this. I think I will be okay on clothes for at least the first few months just depends on how quickly he grows out of the newborn
things. There is so much left to get though and we are very behind on bills. When income tax comes in we can catch up, but that will

Knowing how Kedan loved Thomas (and his Mom) and how Toot loves Kedan, I saw something I would really love to get her. At that store they have a wonderful Thomas the Train scrapbook and all kinds of stuff to go with it. Back rent and car payment. Take 2...

2nd try for this. all of my friends in the forums here said I should try again. I had a heart attack a little while ago. Still recovering, but I cannot goto work until I get a bit more used to things now. Then again, the docs say no heavy lifting anymore, so I do not know if I can keep my job. I have no medical insurance, but luckily the state paid for most of the hospital stay. After having to buy medications, and medication for being a diabetic, I have had no money for the past few bills. Missing work for this time hasn't helped.

I really could use the money for the past 2 months of rent and a late car payment. I hope someone could help here. I have no other place to turn.
