Rich and Corrinne have had some hard times this year...Their daughter Maria was released from jail and Corrinne came here to Indiana to provide emotional and financial support to her until she got on her feet. She left her husband Rich behind to maintain their retirement home in Massachutes...
When Rich came to visit he and Corrinne went on a small trip to see their other children in a neighboring state and while driving Rich fell asleep at the wheel. Corrinne broke her neck and was in the hospital and rehab center for a couple of weeks. She went back to Mass. to heal. That would be the last time she would see her daughter alive.
On July 23rd of this year Maria overdosed on heroin. She was only 42. They were a close knit family and Maria's son Josh was doing drugs with her, in fact he scored the drugs that killed his mom. He was unable to get over his guilt and grief of losing his mother, and just a few days ago on Decemeber 23rd..5 months to the day his mother died..Josh shot up for the last time intending to kill himself. This time he suceeded.
Rich and Corrinne are beside themselves with grief. They feel guilty because they feel that they should have somehow been able to save their daughter and grandson.
If I win the 100..I want for them to be able to go out and relax..have dinner and a movie. I want to take their minds off the tragic events of this year.

Partial Child Care Expense help

I've lost track of the summer months and just realized August is the next month. I expected my husbands income to be enough but he just told me it wasn't. I have to come up with 4 - 5 weeks of Child care before I get the expected Financial Aid dispersements around the end of September or 1st week of October. Part of the reason for this was I had hoped I could get Huggybear potty trained this summer in time to go to pre school, but have been unsuccessfull with it.

I am hoping to be able to give my three boys a Christmas. This past year has not been good for my familey. December 23 of last year, I lost my Mom in an auto accident. She had no insurance. Me and my 3 sisters paid all the expences. After that, My Fiance was in a bad auto accident in May cause by a DUI driver. He lost about 3 and ahalf monthes of work. We almost lost our home and our car. He is back at work now. But, we had to spend our Christmas funds in order to live and eat.
So here is alittle about my boys.
Rickey is 14. He loves to draw and make things. Very creative. He is needing Jeans size 18. Sweaters size mans S. And Shoes size 10.
Blake will be 10 in January. He loves playing sports and riding bikes. He is needing Jeans size 10 and shoes a size 4.
Christian will be 8 in December. He loves playing with cars and action figures. He is needing Sweaters size 6-7 as well as shoes a size 13.

Now that you know some of my situation, I am hoping that my three boys may be able to have some kind of Christmas. Thank you all for listening and for your time.

I am hoping to be able to give my three boys a Christmas. This past year has not been good for my familey. December 23 of last year, I lost my Mom to a tradgice an auto accident. So here is alittle about my boys. They are needing some clothing due to all the cold weather. I know they would enjoy toys more.
I do have a Wal-Mart wish List. I have even posted on Wish Up On A Hero. here is the link- [ link ] I just haven't had any luck. I also have a Pay-Pal account. It doesn't have to be much. It is really going to be hard on them not having there Grandmother to share Christmas with. But even sadder when they wake up with nothing under the Tree.

My oldest son is in Iraq for his second tour and will not be home for Christmas. After feeling sorry for myself for a few days I decided to try to do something to help me and the troops. I know first hand that there are troops over there that get little if anything from home. And as sad as I am I know it is nothing compared to what they are going through. I can send a card for about $1.00 (one dollar) and want to send as many as I can. I am disabled and can not work outside of my home so it is even harder this year. I just thought this would be a good way to help.
