I'm trying again for these kids. This is two boys ages 3 and 4.

This wish is for two little kids in my town who's parents both lost their jobs last month. I'd like to help provide a Christmas for them. They dont even have money for a christmas tree and I thought if I could win $100 here that I could get them a small tree and a few small gifts for each child. I hate to think of any child going without anytime but Christmas should be a special time for kids. RHF member Infant Death x2 (Kathie) posted a heart-breaking wish last round. She's very ill and on dialysis, and her husband has walked out on her and their nine children. To top it off, their shed was flooded and their Christmas ornaments ruined. Kathie's kids won't get anything this year, not even a tree.

I'm making this wish for her so that she can replace some ornaments, buy a Christmas ham and possibly get the kids a gift. It must be such a hard time for her family right now, let's show them some love and support. (more)

I came here with a WISH. Many of my friends came here to support me. They also WISH for me to once again be stable. Many of the very active members here have been very kind. I appreciate the kindness and caring. Some have been quite the opposite. But that's on you.
I am BLESSED with the greatest true freinds anyone could ever wish for! Monitarily I not blessed at all at this time. It took a huge amount of money to get a new place to live.
TODAY WE ARE MOVING. If nothing else, please pray for our safety. I honestly do not even know if I'm going to have enough to cover the gas in the moving truck. When we get there, there are still needs to get us back on our feet.
I am not more worthy than another to be granted a WISH. I am also not less worthy. I do not need advice. I have as much right as anyone else to make a WISH. I do not need to justify my wish. Where my daughter lives in a assisted living home and this is a very sad place because there in this place they are understaff and there is alot of older people there who have no family or anyone who comes to visit them or take them anywhere , some of these people are in wheel chairs and you can see that they are very sad my heart has went out to them and I want to do something for them for Christmas however I have no money in order to do this I need help myself with my three grandchildren that I am raising but now since I have met some of these people in this place my heart feels broken and god put it on my heart to do something for them at Christmas time...I would like to be able to go and spend Christmas day with them and take them each some kind of present I dont know what kind of presents I could buy for them but I would like maybe to buy the ladies a handkerchief and the men a pair of socks and let my three granddaughters make them a Christmas card I think this would be wonderful it might not be much but then at least these people would know that they do have someone who cares so I thought of coming in here and making the wish for you guys to help me do this I can furnish you the information if you need to verify what I am saying they are at RoseWood Assisted Living in Pauline South Carolina ....

We were fortunate enough to receive enough donations from my church for half of the kids but there are still about 30 more on the tree. I would have enough to send each child 4.00 but I'd really like to beable to send each one atleast 10.00.

This is a last minute attempt to provide atleast 1 gift to some children who didn't make it on the RHF Angel tree. If I win this wish every cent of it will be divided between the remaining angeltree kids and then paypaled to them on December 19th.

funeral expenses for friend's sister/uncle's mom

As you all know my friend's only sister passed away right around thanksgiving. Sorry you have to see the car, but don't have a scanner to scan her picture or newspaper article. She was in a head-on collusion this past Saturday the 17th. She wasn't drinking or anything. She was with 2 friends. A car sworved & collided in with her. She was driving. Her first surgery was unsuccessful so she had a 2nd one and by then she passed away. Her 2 other friends are currently in comas. How awful for their Thanksgiving now. I'd really like to help them with the funeral. I was also just informed today 11/28/07 that there was a death in my family. My uncle's mother died. (more)

this is my 2nd time asking i am a single mom living in the bronx. i just moved in my apartment from a shelter. i started a new job but i am struggling. i have no family to help me my mom died in 1992 from breast cancer, my older brother died in 1993 from aids, my younger brother was murder in 1999 and my sister died 10 months later in 2000 from lupus. I am supporting my family of 7 (5 kids) while my spouse goes to school. I work two jobs. I ended up with ulcerative colitis and internal bleeding and was in the hospital a wopping two and a half weeks. That was the start of November and I am just now going back to work (half days). Okay I don?t even know where to start or how to say this

I am a wife and mother of a 2 ? year old with a baby on the way.
I?m writing you now, because I?ve been trying all other avenues to get assistance and no one has responded.

I am looking to have my prayers answered and to have a wish granted. I?d really like to make this Christmas an unforgettable one for my son, who?s the most handsome little guy. His name is Jaylehn and he?s Middle Eastern and African American.

My husband and I work very hard to provide the best for him; however, things just aren?t going very well. It seems that once we get back on our feet something comes along and knocks us back down. I know there?s a lesson to be learned in life, dealing with adversity, but lately I?ve been so scared and crying all the time because I feel like I have failed as a mother and a wife because we?ve have pretty much lost what we have.

My hours were cut at work from 8 hours per day to 4 hours per day, our apartment building was sold and our rent is increasing an additional $150.00 dollars per month, and a vehicle we bought only 10 months ago (after not even having a car for 6 months) died out on us. We can?t afford the additional $150.00 for our rent and we cannot afford to have a car that?s not even paid off repaired. It will cost us $3500.00 (for a new engine) to have our car repaired. With the broken down car, we are again struggling something we had hoped we wouldn?t have to go through for a while.

I am due in February and I don?t know what to do. I am working hard and doing my best as a mother and a wife, but I can?t figure out what to do to make things better for my family, We never had a wedding (we were married at the Los Angeles Courthouse by a judge) and I?ve dealt with that.

I just want the best for my family. I love my son and my other little boy that?s on the way. I love my husband and family, who have been there for us. My husband the most wonderful husband I could ever ask for. He is working hard but we still struggle from month to month.

I just want to have my wish granted. That wish is to have the best Christmas possible for my beautiful little son and husband.
