Christmas for Infant Death x2 and Family
RHF member Infant Death x2 (Kathie) posted a heart-breaking wish last round. She's very ill and on dialysis, and her husband has walked out on her and their nine children. To top it off, their shed was flooded and their Christmas ornaments ruined. Kathie's kids won't get anything this year, not even a tree. |

For Lung Cancer 2nd Try!!
My father died of lung cancer almost 5 years ago. With what I saw while taking care of him those last nine months of his life made me more dedicated to giving to this cause. I have been giving money as much as I can with out going bankrupt to the American Cancer Society for lung cancer and I now want more help. With the holidays approaching I can't make as big of a donation. So please help me get my wish so we can get closer to a cure |

help with attorneys fee's ,family matters ,right !hopeing
We've been wishing for a while now, sure hope it comes true this time. Need help with attorneys fee's. We want to stay together,not to be divided up as a family. Our cost has dropped ,thank s to God . Attorney found a way for us ,it s dropped to three thousand now. Kids don't want to go back to liveing with my abusive husband in another country .Hope you all can relate to this , wanting to stay together as a family . All my wakeing hours are filled with this delema . I know people don't have that kind of money laying around, just like us don't . ANy amount sure will be helpfull getting us to the amount we need. I'm disabled , cannot work, it makes me feel useless being in this sitution . I'm praying that people will hear our plea. All it takes is some heart and clicks to help us get to where we honestly need to be at . If i could turn my heart out onto this page for all to see , maybe it would make a difference? funeral expenses for friend's sister/uncle's mom
As you all know my friend's only sister passed away right around thanksgiving. Sorry you have to see the car, but don't have a scanner to scan her picture or newspaper article. She was in a head-on collusion this past Saturday the 17th. She wasn't drinking or anything. She was with 2 friends. A car sworved & collided in with her. She was driving. Her first surgery was unsuccessful so she had a 2nd one and by then she passed away. Her 2 other friends are currently in comas. How awful for their Thanksgiving now. I'd really like to help them with the funeral. I was also just informed today 11/28/07 that there was a death in my family. My uncle's mother died. |

jerry's cancer treatment
Jerry G. Shea, son of a very close dear friend of mine who I've known since I was born has Cancer in his right leg. It has now spread onward to other parts of his body. The Dr. first quoted us at $3,000, but now that it's spread it'll be $6,000 to at least try to remove. If it doesn't get treated by Feburary he will be dead. Please help. I don't want to even know what life would be like w/o Jerry. |

a wagon for my son who has a broken leg
i really need a wagon for my son he is 2trs old and broke his femur nov. 9 and he cant do much of anything because he doesnt fit in his car seat or stroller im not asking for a lot just something small to help my baby to make it through this horrible time i feel so bad for him and would really love to get him out but his cast is so heavy i cant carry him [ his cast is waist high and all the way down left leg and halfway down the right leg] all im asking for is a little bit of help so please vote for my wish. 2nd time around |

A sewing machine for me
I am a stay at home mom with 4 kids, my sewing machine broke while I was making them clothes (much cheaper for us to afford) it is so old that I was told it would be just best to get a newer one. It would help so much to make the kids clothing they can fit into well as clothes are expensive when it comes to having 4 kids. |

My husbands safe return from Iraq! And for others to write..
Im praying for My husbands safe return in 12 months! We have already put 3 months behind us, 12 more to go!! For anyone out there that knows a deployed soldier, please write or email them from time to time just to let them know we havent forgotten about them! My hubby says there are many soldiers that get no mail or email from so-called "friends". He says its a very lonely feeling to walk away from mail call with nothing. There are many sites on the net that can give you an address of a soldier that needs a letter or two. So even if you dont know a soldier personally, or even if you dont agree with the war, lets not forget about the men and women over there just doing their job!! To buy gifts for cardiac care unit at Childrens Hospital
My son is 2 years old and has chronic heart disease. He had open heart surgery as an infant at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital and will need additional surgeries through out his life. The one thing that sticks out in my mind during his hospital stay was a woman who went around handing out disney stuffed animals to all of the kids. |

One day in the arms of the man I love and have not seen.....
Here I was all alone on Thanksgiving, and to spend Christmas Eve with the man I love, would be a dream come true for me. All my life, I never received the real gift I longed for any year of my life. This year I just wish to be held and kissed by the man I love who lives in another state. We both don't have the funds to get to the other for the holidays. Lonely at 52 is not easy for me. I know so many others probably have a more important wish to be granted. I just thought I would write my desire here, should God in his infinate grace and wisdom see fit to bless me, I would be eternally thankful. It sometimes hurts to be so far away from someone you care about for so long. He must take care of his ailing Mother who is 80 years old. I am free to travel, he could not even if he had the money to do so, but tragically does not due to several work related injuries and he is in physical therapy 3 times a week at present. Even if I could hop on a plane, and go there one day to surprise him, it would be worth it. I have high blood pressure so does he, so every day is a gift. I would be very blessed even more than I am at present should you folks consider my wish worthy of fullfillment. Have a wonderful Christmas season all of you. |

SANTA and a X-MAS Tree
I am a Navy Vetren who has worked hard like many others to finally get ahead, and just whn my husband and I thought we where ok and things were coming together, he got fired. We spent everything we had not to lose the house, and to pay the bills. Now with three weeks left til christmas no one is hiring. and I just don't make enough to keep us a float. We have 4 KIds: 12, 8, 2, and 7 months. They still believe in Santa (or they would like us to think so) and If i don't pull christmas off I will kill the christmas spirit in them. I am not putting up lights to cut down on the electric bill and I know there are people out there worse off then us and I tried to do a toy drive for the employees and their kids at work and got denied approval. I wish I could help others instead of asking for help, but what is a mopther to do when faced with the question " MOMMY IS THERE REALLY A SANTA?" Please even if all I can do is get them a tree and a stocking it is better then waking up christmas morning and watching MIracle on 31st street instead of opening gifts and hearing the laughter and seeing the joy on their faces. I wish that not just my children but everyones children and all families get the joy of Christmas morning and I know that there is no way these kids will go without. the world is just not that cruel and if my wish doesn't come true here maybe I will wake up Christmas morning and find out that there is a Santa and find a tree with lights and gifts and stockings for each of my little angels. And if not I will explain to them that Santa was just to busy this year to be able to get to everyone. |

I wish for my fiance and I to be able to get married before he leaves for his second tour to Iraq. We have three beautiful adopted children and one of our own that was born in january. We are doing all we can to be married before he leaves to ensure god forbid something happens to him that his children are taken care of. We just dont have the funds to make it happen. |

Christmas Cards for Soldiers in Iras
My oldest son is in Iraq for his second tour and will not be home for Christmas. After feeling sorry for myself for a few days I decided to try to do something to help me and the troops. I know first hand that there are troops over there that get little if anything from home. And as sad as I am I know it is nothing compared to what they are going through. I can send a card for about $1.00 (one dollar) and want to send as many as I can. I am disabled and can not work outside of my home so it is even harder this year. I just thought this would be a good way to help. |

My wishes for Thelma to come true.
I have been taking care of my gf (of almost 10 yrs.) Thelma for the past 2 1/2 yrs. and will continue to do so til the day I die. She had a stroke in '03 which left her not just physically, but mentally handicapped too. Even tho she is 43 yrs. old, she now/forever has the mentality of a 6 yr. old. I am not just her bf, but her caregiver (24/7), D.P.O.A. , payee for her S.S.I. and because of this situation, I am unable to be employed, which means that her S.S.I. is what covers all of our basic living needs (all bills). With what's left over (very, very little) I have to stretch out thru the rest of the month for any un-forseen problems, and always runs short thanks to the growing economy. Due to this, Thelma has not had a B.Day or Christmas for the past 5 yrs. (the first 3 she was in a nursing home) I am unable to recieve any assistance (health or other) due to rules an regs of my lovely Govt. |

I have 3 great kids who deserve much more than I can give them. We have had a really rough year. In a nutshell, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer and died 2 months later, I was diagnosed with a rare lung disease that could turn terminal any time, and my husband lost his job due to cutbacks and was out of work for over 9 months. My kids have had a very sad and stressful year and have had to make do with nothing. I wasn't able to give them birthday presents or even school clothes or supplies but they tried really hard not to complain. Christmas is very bleak this year and since we live in a small town, we won't be receiving any help. My kids will be disappointed but due to the year we have had, they won't be surprised. I am begging you for help with the winter wear. Even though Christmas won't be much, I would at least like for my kids to be warm. If anyone has any ideas where to turn for help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for any consideration. |

Christmas for 8 children
Because we live in a house with 11 people. I have to support my sister and her 4 children because she is currently seperated and the father of her 4 boys is incarcerated. We struggle on a daily basis to just make ends meet. We only have one car which sometims makes it difficult to get all 8 children around and myself and my sister to work on time. I have to work 2 jobs just to support everyone and pay all the bills. I had to gve up my room and me and my husband sleep on th couch, because my sister can not afford a place of her own. But we make due, we would love to have some extra money or maybe take them on a nice trip even for just the weekend. WE spnd alot of time togeter butnever quality time because some one is always working to just make ends meet while the other has to babysit. |
