Books for Cari - HLs contest
Caribasset, a fellow GON member, and her children love to read. I've got a few Stephen King books I am going to send her way soon but my wish would be for Cari to be able to make a trip to the book store and buy a few new books for both herself and the children. It's so nice to be able to take a break from reality and totally lose yourself into the storyline. I hope Cari can do this soon! |

Supplies for the Multi Patrol (Contest)
Metsjets works her ass off investigating and making A-Z multi lists so the rest of us can vote accordingly and keep the site as fair as possible. This isn't an easy task and she needs more notebooks, Pens, pencils with erasers (for those occasional mistakes), cupcakes to snack on during the tedious process, a 12 pack of beer, some thinking music, some incense, and some extra strength Advil. This is a wish I wanted to run for Missin. Her daughter is gonna be able to sleep on a new bed! WooHoo! Yeah! The only problem - it's naked. No, not her daughter. That poor, poor bed. I put the wish at $50 because I'd love to see her daughter be able to get at least one complete ensemble. Full size comforter, sheet set - all the stuff to make that new bed all cozy and comfy. Sweetlori to be able to buy a wedding dress (GRANTED)
As most of you know, sweetlori is getting married on 8-08-08. Well, she has had alot of things come up over the past few months, her health hasn't been the best, she has had financial problems, well, now, she just tried on her dress that she planned to get married in and because she has gained a few pounds due to meds that she has to take, it no longer fits. I want her to be able to buy something really pretty to be married in that will also be comfortable in the hot Louisiana weather. Missinmykin to spend as she wants
I am making this wish for missin (Dawn) because I want her to be able to go out and buy something that she wants. Why Missin, you might ask. Well, thanks to her, in the last few months, she has not only taught me how to make money doing surveys, but has also shown me how to save tons of money on groceries by using coupons and how to get practically free stuff by following her tips on using coupons at local stores. This has helped me tremendously and I am very grateful to her. |

Help For My Friend Michelle Tax Money (contest)
My friend Michelle whom is grndma2lia on here has still 540.00 to pay on her taxes for her house. She has been working very hard to get it all. It was a lot more but she worked hard and did not get any help to get this far. I think it would be great as she missed a lot of time with her in home daycare these last couple weeks with her friend in hospital then passing away if she could get a little help towards her goal. So I think 75.00 would be a BIG help and still leave room for someone else to win too... |

Something Special For A Special Little Angel (contest)
This is not a need but its a nice wish so put it in needy. findingmyfriends aka Bridgette has a friend that was in a car accident. She lost one of her children in it (hit by a drunk driver). I don't know all of the details but I know she has a little one in the hospital who is just such a strong little guy doing better all of the time. Its been a road though and he is so young. I cannot imagine what this little angel is going through with all that has happened. I know if Bridgette got 50.00 to spend on something special for him to brighten his day she would do it right away no doubt about that. |
