Digger needs to visit her sister!!
Digger's sister lives in California--and Digger hasn't seen her in over two years! They both have babies but have yet to meet them in person. I'm posting this wish for DIGGER--and if it wins the money will go directly to her. Please help me do this for her---I think this is just what she needs right now. |

My wish is for my neighbor...
My wish is for my neighbor i put it in needy because she NEEDS it. Her name is April she is a postmaster and has 3 kids. Recently she hurt her back at work she has used up all of her sick/vacation days so now she has no income and doctors are talking surgery. I would love to be able to surprise her with 50 dollars for her to spend on food,bills,just what ever they need at the time. She is a wonderful mother and it pains me to see her suffering. I put 50 dollars as the amount because if i win i would like for someone else to be able to win too! She needs more than 50 but i know she would be tickled with any amount. Thanks to all for looking and please keep her in your prayers. hi my name is neva i have four beautiful children whom i love with all my heart but im so tired i work at home to care for my kids i need some time to my self i would love to have my hair and nails done i've not had that done in over six months our last child was born on july 3 2007 and i've been so busy with her and the other 3 kids that i have know time for myself i've not even been away from her the first time yet and im getting worn down i put this wish as needy but it may sound greedy im really not sure how to take it to me it sounds greedy because im always getting for the kids and not my self so when i ask for my self it seems im taking from the children but i know i cant just care for them with out caring for me i would love to just have that day for myself to be me again and feel good about myself again i used to go and have a day out with the girls and since the new baby its been just me and the other children |

My husband to come home on a 4 day leave
A round trip ticket from Ft Dix NJ to Beckley WV costs $800. Although, a $100.00 will not pay for the trip, it sure will help. He doesn't know when he will be able to go on leave but he said it could be within the next 30 days. I put this in the greedy because it is selfess to want this to happen. Even though I really need to see him again before they ship him overseas. He's been gone for 3 weeks and after that it will be a year in Baghdad Iraq. I don't know if this visit will be a positive thing or make things worse to see him leave again. We really can't afford the ticket but I'd take every dime we have to see him again. Maybe seeing him one more time before he leaves the states will strengthen me. I don't know! I just want to see him. |

Back rent and car payment. Take 2...
2nd try for this. all of my friends in the forums here said I should try again. I had a heart attack a little while ago. Still recovering, but I cannot goto work until I get a bit more used to things now. Then again, the docs say no heavy lifting anymore, so I do not know if I can keep my job. I have no medical insurance, but luckily the state paid for most of the hospital stay. After having to buy medications, and medication for being a diabetic, I have had no money for the past few bills. Missing work for this time hasn't helped. |

i can afford cloth diapers and wipes for my kids.
this is a need and a greed. need as we need diapers and it is great for the environment and a greed as they cost sooo much. but they will last us forever. i have found the type of diapers and cloth wipes that would serve us best. they would fit both of our kids(22 months and 5 months)as well as being great for the environment. they are called all-in-ones,or AIO meaning you don't need plastic covers or any thing else but the diaper. the problem is that they cost 18.00 each. we have no money for any kind of diaper disposable or not. i know that it is a big cost upfront but, in the long run it would save us so much money(and again be great for the environment). i figured it up and it would cost about $350.00 to start with for a one day supply plus enough to get us through the next day while the dirty ones are being washed(that would be 18 diapers and 30 wipes and the tax-with a discount i found online). we have a washer and dryer so that would be plenty. any help would be great. i have included a link to the site that has them, thanks so much. the diapers go from 7-35 lbs so they would last as long as the kids are in diapers. |
