Granted! Help Me Contain Myself - Container Gardening Book

I love to garden, and I'm getting that itch again, but I hate where I'm living. So, I would like to design a container garden that I could take with me if I move. This one has gorgeous pictures, and I'd love to own it.

This wish has been granted by an anonymous angel. Not received yet, but has been mailed! Thanks B!

A Night With My Family

We were some of the lucky ones in the area of Lafayette, TN last week. The storms were within 1/4 mile of everyone in my family, yet we all made it through with our homes and our lives, which is so much more than so many were left with. That is why I am putting this wish in the greedy section, we all survived, we are getting the things that we need and trying to help others in our community put their lives back together. What I want is this, one night I want to be able to take my family out to dinner. I am asking for $100 because this would allow me to take my whole family, my husband, my son, my in-laws, and my parents. This would be the first time in several years if we all got to go out together, and after us all surviving the storms and the devastation last week, and the week of helping our friends and neighbors sift through the rubble, I just really want a break. We lost a dear friend in the storm, and so many others are in desperate need right now, but I admit I am terribly greedy, I want a night just to enjoy my family. I want a night for our bond to truly shine, away from the stress of the situation here right now.

A Sonic Screwdriver 2nd Try

A Sonic Screwdriver 2nd Try

Everyone knows it is not only the right, but it is the RESPONSIBILITY of parents to embarrass their children. It's in all the parent handbooks. We must feed them, clothe them, keep them safe, teach them responsibility...and also embarrass them.

My 13 year old son deeply regrets introducing me to Doctor Who because, in watching it, I have found new fun avenues of embarrassment!

I have already dubbed our boring old station wagon the TARDIS and call it that as often as possible, especially in public. As in "Quick, son, to the TARDIS, we must escape this strange Wal-Mart planet!"

Now, I have discovered the perfect tool to aid in my embarrassment pursuit in this sonic screwdriver: [ link ]

Not only does it LOOK like The Doctor's sonic screwdriver, it has lights and sonic sounds. Oh yeah. Which means I will be able to point my screwdriver at the doors of buildings and complain loudly when my tool seems to be malfunctioning.

I will keep my handy, dandy screwdriver in my purse...The Doctor would never go anywhere without his, so I must not either!

I think, with your help in voting for my wish, that I can make this a sucessful tool of embarrassment. As long as I don't get detained for suspicious activity or forced into the nearest mental health hospital for treatment, I'm positive I will have success!

2nd try because I need cheap amusement AND I'm a huge Doctor Who fan! Price updated to include shipping. Also updated to correct my misspelling of embarrass. Why didn't anyone tell me!? :-p
