Michael Delgado, 2008 graduate from Poteet High School in Mesquite and Howard Payne freshman soccer player was involved in a car accident on August 30th and is paralyzed from the waist down. His family is currently transporting him to TIRR in Houston for rehabilitation.
Any monetary help/support for his family would be a huge blessing. They need help in so many different areas, we are trying to assist them with all we can find!

A wagon for Chris - Take 4 - Please help save my back!

Ok - So we are going for try 4

Chris is the youngest of my 3 children and he has dev. delays. He tires out very quickly and then wants to be either pushed (or pulled) or carried. Until we got his first wagon I carried him when he couldn't walk anymore. But at 58 pounds he has gotten to heavy for me.

I am looking into gettting him a stroller (thanks to the info shared by a member on here). Which will be very helpful but the problem with a stroller is that he thinks they are for babies and of course at 6 he is a BIG boy.

The wagon is a great solution for us ... we use it at the zoo, at the park, and even at the store. About the only thing we couldn't use the wagon for was museums - and the stroller will work great for that. The wagon even fits in our car trunk and the big kids love to help pull him in it.

His first wagon wasn't anything special. It was a Radio Flyer - the kind with the seats and buckles. That is all I am wanting to get this time.. nothing fancy - just a red wagon so that I am not carrying him.

We had the first wagon for almost 2 years and sadly it is no longer in one piece.

I have adjusted the wish amount because I was able to sell a tutu dress last week and I can apply that money towards his wagon. I have some more listed but I will need everything I make off etsy and ebay this week to go towards the house payment and hopefully we will have some left to pay on some of my daughters hospital bills.

A Future Olympian to go to SMU for Swim Camp

My 13 year old has been swimming for 4 years on a swim team. Her events are the 100 fly and the 100 freestyle. She is wanting to go to SMU for a swim camp to improve her strokes. She has the ability to be a great swimmer with great instrution. This camp includes a week long stay at the college, video of her swimming to let her see how to improve her strokes and great coaching.

I am a lower class 26 year old man. I am a born again Christian. I am the oldest of 8 marrying the youngest of 8. I work for the developmentally and physically disabled adult population in my county. The dowry will be about $5000. I will also have to fund my wedding which is already on a tight budget, which will not allow it to be any more than $5000 also. I am in dire need of this money. Both my family and my fiance's family are lower class families with many health and economical issues hindering financial statuses.
