A stem cell transplant
I know that is a ridiculous sum of money! If I don't have an autologous (not embryonic) stem cell transplant I will likely die. I have a clotting disorder called Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome that has caused me to have a heart attack and many strokes; and as is the case with autoimmune diseases, if you have one you have several. An ebook reader
This is a truly naughty wish!! I would like an ebook reader. Maybe the one in the video, maybe not. I read 3-4 books a week, and even thought I usually buy them used, it's getting expensive! Plus, when I'm done, I usually stack them up by my nightstand before moving them into the office/library/storage room. Last time I moved them, there were about 40. It's a fire hazard! Also, my fiance has a reader, and so many more cool toys than I. So I want to get a nicer reader than he has.. that's really naughty, too! |

A Dictionary
Well, I suck at spelling and meanings of words. I thought I could educate myself with a dictionary. If I get a donated one it has to be current with all the new lingo so I know whats going on. Thank you for furthering my education. |

reunite with my father after 18 years (3rd Try)
this is my third try at this wish please grant it this time....please vote positive for my wish and help me get it granted this time or if you can donate even so much as a dollar it will help me at least save up to hire a private investigator if i don't win. My father came to America from Cuba in the 70's or 80's I was born May 2, 1984 he went to prison when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old by the time I turned 7 my mom had passed away... She and I would visit him in prison alot! I lost touch with him for a very long time but in 2002 I regained information on what prison he was in and his address.. In december of 2003 I discovered he was released to the us immigration holdings where he would go before a cuban board to determine if he would stay in America or be deported... I was told to write a letter and send it to the board.. I wrote the letter but before I could mail it off explaining that I am his daughter ( US BORN) I was told that he was no longer in their custody... I just need some closure I'm not sure if he's still in america or in cuba I'm not sure if he's dead or alive.. I'm so scared because I heard that when you sneak out of the country and are deported back you are killed because you desserted your country I have not seen my father in 18 years... and what hurts so bad is that I look exactly like him everytime I look in the mirror it's like i'm looking at him but in reality I'm so far away from him...His real name is Isidoro Vega - Moreno I was sent a letter from his sister in cuba in 2004 but it was in spanish and I could not understand what the letter was saying on the letter was even some phone numbers One number had hermana next to it meaning sister I have a sister that looks exactly like me as well over in cuba that I have never met in this letter was her number.. but hurricane katrina came to my hometown of new orleans and the letter was destroyed by flood waters along with everything else we owned. |

Romantic Date Night with my wonderful husband
Okay this is truly a naughty wish. I am asking for $100 to cover a wonderful and romantic date night with my husband. This would cover us going out to the movies and a dinner and of course the babysitter. Babysitters are expensive so we don't get out that much due to this fact. This would allow us a leaisurely dinner, movies and maybe a walk along the river without having to rush back. Hey all couples with kids can relate to this one. |

Money for a Doppler for a Pregnancy Loss Nonprofit
We have a local nonprofit in the Portland area that helps parents after pregnancy and infant loss. I know there is always a need for professional dopplers to calm the moms-to-be's fears of having another loss. Until you have gone thru a pregnancy or infant loss, you have no idea how scary it is to have a subsequent pregnancy after loss. |

My son Marques is 5 months old...he's 21lbs. His current formula is carnation goodstart it's $25 for the biggest can. He goes through 4 8oz bottles a day. I would love to be prepared and buy two large cans which will last him about a month or so. That's his picture .. he was eating ice cream LOL!!! I'm curently trying to sell my kids old toys that they don't play with anymore. So if I make a sale on any of them i'll come and minus the amount that I made from the toys from my wish amount. Letters to any and all representatives in every state
For the cost of a sheet op paper and some ink, an envelope and a stamp, or even cheaper, a few minutes typing on an email, you can get the word out that the public at large is tired of a very serious disease being largely underfunded by our government for researching a cure. Cancer get many many million, as do many other diseases, but Lupus takes as many lives, and gives people a much lower quality of life than does cancer. And just so you know I have lost two very dear relatives to cancer, My grandfather dies in a979 from Brain cancer and my Uncle died last year from prostate cancer. here is my blog entry about that [ link ] |

Just Prayers From Everyone
You might say this girl never run out of wishes..... but i do know, one wish, one prayer, can make miracles happen... my father was admitted to the hospital yesterday and half of his body is paralyzed. He had undergone ctscan and will know the results this afternoon. I know i needed money for his hospital bills and meds, but i need more your prayers. It is just so painful seeing a special celebrate his birthday in a hospital and watching him last night, i sensed his bitterness for being a burden to his family. |

More $ to be donated to Robinhood to help more people
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the Robinhood had more money for the weekly fund? Think if every member donated even $4 per month to the fund how those dollars could increase the funding for helping people. If this wish is to win, I would donate the money back to Robinhood Fund. |

The ability to think before typing
Here's the thing. I have a problem with getting across what I am trying to say sometimes without having it sound like a personal attack. Even if I am offering someone the benefit of my own experience it sounds like I am attacking them. I need to find a better way to communicate so people can understand when I am trying to help them, and not think that I am against them. |

Money to pay our Fire Department Dues
My husband and I each owe $55 to our Fire Station to pay our annual dues. This money is used to buy items that we and our fellow fire fighters use. I have not been able to pay these because I have been paying more important bills. Thank You reguardless of your vote! |

Plane tickets so we can meet our brand new nephew! 3rd try
I live in Michigan. My brother and his wife live in Atlanta. They just had a brand new baby boy in February, their first child (that's him to the left). Money is tight for all of us, but my husband and I want desperately to go meet our new nephew! We can't afford to make the trip right now because we have some unforeseen taxes to pay this year. |

my grandmother to be cremated!
The last 8 months have been REALLY hard on my family. Mom mom found out that her husband of 18 years has been having an affair with a woman 23 years younger than him. She was so devesated that she tried to slit her own wrist. I had to rush her to the hospital while holding the bandages on her arms. No that she is better she is proceeding with a divorce. In the 6 months that he has been gone he has racked up $80,000 in debt by taking loans out on the home, credit cards and the such. The whole time he has not been giving my mother any support so we have been scraping together everything we have to keep the house, pay attorneys fees and the such. Last week my grandmother passed away SUDDENLY. I found her and did CPR to no avail. She left behind major debt and SEVERAL animals whom I am trying to take care of and adopt out. WE have absolutely no money to cremate her. It costs 789 I have managed to pay $200 toward it but really can't manage more with all the other bills. PLEASE HELP US! We are not even asking for money for services or an urn... Just cremation costs. We even had to transport my grandmothers body in the car to try and cut down on the cost. |
