Money to get my teeth fixed.

I need to have dental work done on my teeth. I have been laid off of work for the last 3 mo nths and my health insurance ran out. I'm 50 years old and have been a laborer for the past 10 years. I don't deserve for my wish to be granted over anyone else. I just thought I would give it a try. I'm really worried about being able to continue on with this career because it's very physically demanding and I'm starting to really feel it. When I do go back to work, it will take 3 months to accumulate enough hours for my health and dental insurance to be effective. I went to the dentist a week ago and he said I need root canals on 2 teeth and 2 crowns. I also have a few cavities that are moderate. The problem is this dentist no longer lets patients carry a balance for treatment. In order to be treated I have to take out a loan called "Care Credit". I wasn't approved for this loan, so I guess I can't get my teeth taken care of unless I save for the money, or borrow it. The two teeth that are the worst are turning black and I am so embarrassed when I smile. My granddaughter asked me what was wrong with my teeth. It seems like everything starts falling apart the older you get. Until now, I have always had a nice smile. My self esteem is already headed south, and this is just one more straw on the camels back. Bandit's Angel (Dee) is disabled, on SSI, and is struggling to survive. She has a HUGE bill ($2,813) from when Bandit (her companion kitty) was in the hospital, and she can't pay it. Making her daily and even hourly struggle that much more difficult for her!!

In order to make payments on that bill, she is doing without food, toiletries, and other necessities. She stays inside all the time because she has to use her gas to get to her medical appointments.

And the last week, as she was getting ready for some very important appointments (Cat Scans on her brain) as her doctor has suspected she has had a mild stroke; she had some problem earlier with the toilet (it didn't want to flush) so she raised the lid to let the flushing mechanism raise. Then when attempting to place the lid back on, it slipped, due to her bad hand, and went into the tank. She didn't notice anything and went about getting ready. After awhile she noticed the toilet was running, so she started to go in, and Bandit was sitting there watching - watching the water rise!!! So to make a long story short - it took a couple more "floods" to determine the "shut off valve" was corroded and yes there was a crack that can't be seen, but felt in the tank!!

Between the record heat and humidity; no a/c; this plumbing nightmare (for her) . . . AND what it will cost - - - she is beyond stretched to her limits!!!

The stress of this bill and these problems are exacerbating all of Dee's medical conditions, which means she gets sicker and sicker every day she has to worry about this situation. Dee is in despair about her situation, because she feels trapped with this bill hanging over her head, and her everyday existence is very depressing. Please, let's give Dee and Bandit some help here with 5 votes, supportive comments, and donations, if you are able. Thank you for helping my friend. There is also an ignore function, so you can choose to ignore a user if they are bothering you.. you won't see their chat, and they can't send you any kind of message.

I just left my husband due to domestic abuse and relocated to another city. I found us an apartment and I just found me a good job that will put us back on our feet. The problem is I was only able to afford a car that cost me 1,000.00. The car is in need of repairs so I can first of all get the required emissons test to get my license plates and second get it running so I can keep my job. No public transportation from East Chicago Indiana to Hobart. Please help me help myself. I just want to take care of my family because if money doesn't start coming through here soon, our situation will get worse. Funds for my cancer clinical trial expenses

I have one of those lovely incurable cancers. Cut it out, back it comes again. There's only so much cutting you can do before it goes to your liver, and your lymph nodes. So, after almost 13 years, that's where we are. There are a few things that CAN be done to help.

There's a protocol being done in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It costs $80,000, plus the hospital stay (another $9,000-12,000) the trip there, and 4 to 6 weeks expenses to stay there while they see if it worked...average cost to people that have done it is around $110,000. There's another one in Berne, Switzerland. Same sort of deal, average cost to those that have done it, closer to $150,00. Obviously, FAR out of my reach.

There is a recently opened third alternative. It is in Houston. It's at an outpatient facility, because the therapeutic radioactive agent they use doesn't damage the liver (Basel) or kidneys (Rotterdam). It's a 3 week stay, no hospital involved. Most people stay in an extended stay motel nearby and the expenses are for lodgings and food, plus the considerable (testing $8,000, infusion $25,000) medical expense. Well, this Stage II clinical trial--something Medicare NEVER covers is clinical trials--works well enough that Medicare will cover it at 80%. I have Medicaid that will pay the other 20%.

I can 'borrow' a place to stay, either 30 miles away at my foster son's or possibly 10 miles away at a friend's "in town apartment" for when she's at the cancer hospital. I need funds for food, gasoline and to pay the radiation safety fees to 'clear' the place I stay once I get to go home. I'll be unsafe for others to be within 6 feet of for a few days, and unsafe around babies, small animals and pregnant women for about 10 days. It's a chance to 'buy' a few years, and it can be repeated, up to three infusions. It'll lessen my dependence on the injections I currently get. Medicare will save money on that and I will have some time where I feel better!

So, RHF, I am starting now so that by January, I can have some money saved, and since I won't win, I can at least say I tried to get some RHF help. It's also a way to get more wishes done, and that's good too! (Why naughty? I'll die with or without it, just not as soon.) (more)

this is my 2nd chance.....I'm a single mom, disabled, and no child support coming in cause we don't know where he's at the last 8 years. My daughter is almost 14. I do all that I can but being on a fixed income just don't always help. And I've had to let my rent go last month and this month. If I don't get something to play landlord we could be out on the streets. We don't have family here, family lives to far away, and what is left of them they are up in years and on fixed income themselves. I have posted several wishes in the past, basically they were all the same. My wish is still for basically the same thing, my mother, but the situation has changed drastically.
My mother, Sandy, Passed away Saturday July 7th. Her last wish, was to be at my wedding and see me get married so she would know I was all set and had someone to take care of me before she passed away. She missed this, because of financial reasons, my mothers last dying wish was ungranted. I want to continue to grant her her wish, but now it will be through a rememberance for both of my parents at my wedding, atleast they are together.
The problem is now the problems are multiplying and the financial situation which I thought could not get any worse, has. My landloard has sent me a 5 day demand notice for her rent. The electric company is threatening to shut the electricity off. The phone company wants there money, and I have no money to pay for any of this. My mother had no life insurance, and I cant even afford to have her name written on her headstone. The only reason she has a head stone is because she is burried with my father, so it was already there. My fiance has to go in for surgery on Sept 27th, and he wont even be able to do his little part time job. Right now we have an income of $737. coming in from his social security disability check, and our rent is $700. Ive talked to my landloard/slumloard, and she cant help us at all. I really do not know what else I can do. PLEASE, I am now Begging for Votes. I know $500 will not solve all of my problems, but it will greatly help and will be greatly appreciated.
You see, my mother has a brother who has more money than he will ever know what to do with, that was the only reason I was able to burry my mom. If it wasnt for him I dont know where she would be right now. I am not a selfish person. I am very nice, kind and friendly.
ONE thing that really upsets me about this site is if you have a child keep them OFF the site it's for people over age of 18 don't tell people they must leave a nice comment because a bad comment upsets your child boohoo the child should not be on the site to begin with.
I have just joined the Robinhood site and already I am turned off by the messages I get from certain people everyday to vote for there wish. 10 messages a day to look and vote for there wish. I can only give stars one time so why keep sending messages.
There are alot of kind hearted people in the world and then there are people who take advantage of those kind people and I know this because it has happend to me more than once.
People have the right to leave a good comment or a bad comment.
THere are people on here that get help from other sites also and how much clothes does one child need. The way I look at it if you can afford a computer, the internet and a phone then you should be able to buy clothes and feed your children, I have seen other sites that actually check up on there wish applicants about there income but I think some people on here think this is joke. It spoils it for people that really need help not the greedy people.
I will buy you two cans of $8 paint to paint a room but what would be next, more clothes more paint so when does it stop. Myself and my daughter are both disabled and we both manage fine on our disability money.

I coordinate a coupon project on Ebay and I send coupons to almost 70 people.
I get donations of postage and coupons but with the increasing request coming in I tend to run short. I am asking for you folks to send me your unwanted coupons. Even if they are expired.
I also send expired coupons to a military base in Germany. These coupons can be used up to 6 months after expiration.
It is truly rewarding to get an e-mail or message saying so and so saved X amount of dollars because I sent them coupons. I have done this project for about a yr and it has grown to a point where its hard to keep up with the demand.

Help for a survivor of abuse and her children

Sabrina & her children are courageous survivors of domestic violence abuse. use. I am making a wish for her, so that she can escape the abuse, & never feel that she has to return to it b/c she can't make it on her own. She is a 23 y/o mother of 2. A 6 mo & 3 y/o. She found out after 3 y/s of marriage, that her husband had become addicted to meth. She confronted him, tried to leave & was beaten to the point that she was unrecognizable. She was hospitalized for over a week. She suffered such a severe beating, that she has to have reconstructive surgery on her face. The children were present during the abuse.
I volunteer at the center she moved to after being released from the hospital. She has since continued her education, to better life for her & her children. She works a job while caring for her children, attending college & suffering constant harrassment from her abuser. She has stayed strong & refused to return to the abuse. She has also taken on the responsibility of caring for another victim's children, while the lady is recovering from a severe abuse incident herself. She will graduate in the fall with a nursing degree, & has been awarded an internship after graduation. Her courage & heart is an inspiration to me & I want to surprise her with some positive in her life.
She was orphaned at 9 when her parents were killed in a wreck. She was placed in fostercare & suffered sex abuse from age 9 to 15. She has no family & little support, yet she is helping herself & not continuing to be a victim, but a survivor. She desperatly needs a hand up with making it on her own. She has found an apartment but needs the deposit of $400, 1st mo rent of $400, electric deposit of $150 & water deposit of $75. She has a car that was donated but it needs a fuel pump & tires. She was forced to leave her & the children's belongings behind, so she has to start over from scratch. She will need diapers, baby things & household items. She will need uniform & shoes if there is anyone that has these to donate. The amount of this wish is to help cover all of this. I am a 61 (Today!) year old female living alone on SSI disability. I am on SSI because I have a severe curved spine wich causes many problems. 2 years and 8 months ago I stopped using all credit cards when I was able to transfer all into one w/low percent. I owed about $3500 then. I have been able to only pay the minimum each month and the account Still is about $3000! I had been paying more each month but by doing That I ended up having to Use the credit card before the end of the month to get by. I figured if I paid the minimum each month then at least I wouldn't have to use the card again. But paying only the minimum doesn't really help lower the total much. I had an excellant credit rating as I always pay bills on time. I did not use the 2 cards I had foolishly but did use to get by each month until I consolated them into the low percent card after which I have never used the card at all. Paying only the minimum I have been able to get by but just by the skin of my teeth and because of that and because I still owe $3000 after paying the minimum each month for over 2 years I just stopped paying the card altogether a couple months ago. They are calling me and want their money but I just don't have it. They said they would settle for about $2500 but where do I get even That amount? Any help/suggestions appreciated. (more)

i have saved alot of glass bottles so incase i need to use candles i have one lamp i can use i just worry about candles they can start a fire ,im wierd i unplug things when we go out , haveing candles around gee i will never get to sleep . if worse comes to worse i have to do that and keep the lamp to see the grand kids at night when amanda wakes up for her baba ,

i have tryed everything to help with are electric , i been every place to try to get help for us to pay im getting no place its like doors being slamed in my face , if i did not have my grand kids i would not care if my lights went off ,I have been to so many places on line to try to get help i must be doing something wrong ? so many places around here where we live and nothing no help im truly hopeing what i read is true they cant shut it off with a baby under 12 months old and if you get welfare i get food stamps i wonder if that counts .

i have a 6 month old and a year and a half grand kids there mom left and dont care about them amanda needs to see her cardiologist her hole in her heart is not closing it should of already ,

I have been told by my doctor that there is a very good chance that I have sleep apnea. In order to find out I need to do a sleep study. This means a nights stay at the hospital and my Medicare does not cover very much of a hospital stay. I would be required to pay $952. That is just for the sleep study. If I have to purchase the CPAP machine I would have to cover 20% of the cost. Right now I am just asking for enough to cover the sleep study. Please help because the longer I go undiagnosised the more health problems I could get. Untreated, sleep apnea can cause high blood pressure and other cardiovascular disease, memory problems, weight gain, and headaches. Moreover, untreated sleep apnea may be responsible for job impairment and motor vehicle crashes. I am tired of being tired all the time. Help me find out why. (more)

I am heading back to New Orleans for my fifth time since Katrina to spend a month helping a local animal shelter. ARNO is the only no-kill shelter in NOLA (Animal Rescue New Orleans) and they do great work. Their website is: [ link ] Many people have not returned to New Orleans (over 50%), but the animals on the streets continue to need care. It is dire to be an animal without a home in New Orleans today. ARNO is the only organization that is still feeding and watering in New Orleans. I will not be compensated and this is painful since I am self-employed. They desperately need me and I will go to try to save an amazing shelter from ruin. They have too many things to do, not enough hours in the day to do them, and are simply burned out The animals will suffer, if they don't get help. I know them well, am trusted, and can easily step in and implement processes that will to help them go forward. I have paid for all of my trips to New Orleans, but a month will be expensive, so could use some help since my laptop recently died.

So my wish is for a laptop. Nothing fancy, just something to keep me connected. It needs to be able to run Photoshop CS2 (a bit of a memory hog, I am a pro photographer, so I need this) some Windows apps, and a wireless card. Just a way to keep me connected. ARNO has 501(c) (3)status, and I will ship them the laptop computer to them, upon my return to CA, so that this will be a donation to them. Can you help?

my min pin was attacked by a stray pit bull

I didn'nt always start out as a pet owner. In fact, I thought I never would be a pet owner. A friend's min pin had surgery. I took care of her through her recovery. Of course, we grew attached to her. My love for her and from fear that my friend would take her back, caused me to purchase a min pin pup of my own. Currently, I take care of both of them. I love them so much. Prissy the puppy was attacked June 30, 2007 by a stray pit bull. My son and nephew were walking them. I am happy that the pit bull didn't get any children. Seeing that pit bull tear into Prissy and rip her flesh, made me nearly faint. She's at a hospital now with broken ribs and a punctured lung. Air has gotten into her lungs. She's in so much pain. The hospital bill alone will cost about $1,800. Monday I have to go get her and take her to her vet. Where I will have to pay for treatment and boarding. I'm estimating around another $1,000, don't know yet haven't talked to her vet. I was contemplating putting her down, but when I called the hospital, they told me that they put the compression on her and that she's critical but stable. I just don't have the money. I'm a single mom of three just entering college since graduating high school in 1988. I paid $550 for Prissy. I don't want to replace her and put her to sleep. Man, we just love her so much. I don't know what to do. My older min pin, Princess was tramatized. She's walking around looking for Prissy. She knows somethings not right. My mom tells me to put it in God's hands. Some might say she's just a dog and she is. But she's so much more to us. My sister, who's a cat lover, brought a min pin because of Prissy, named Brooklyn. How I wish I was rich than I would'nt have to be stressed like this and put in this predicamen of putting Prissy down. If at all possible, please send help. Thank you. (more)

I have 5 kids, we are living in a shelter for abused women. I only have 3 of the 5 kids with me, my brother has the other 2. Becaues the shelter did not have room for all of us. If I am going to get my kids back together before school starts. I will need a little help. The #1 thing I need is a home for me and my kids we became homeless in April, because of my X husband.
