A stem cell transplant
I know that is a ridiculous sum of money! If I don't have an autologous (not embryonic) stem cell transplant I will likely die. I have a clotting disorder called Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome that has caused me to have a heart attack and many strokes; and as is the case with autoimmune diseases, if you have one you have several. My wife to have tubal ligation reversal surgery.
I have no children. I met my wife when I was 18 years old. She had already had 5 kids of her own. She had been married getting a divorce. She has been through so much. When she was a little girl her father molested her. When she turned 13 her mother was addicted to drugs and around that time she was raped. She had a child at 15 she then ran away from home because of the drugs and the men were trying to rape her. They were also addicts that had been around her mom. She ended up getting married at 18 thinking this man was doing to love, honor and cherish her. But he ended up beating her, putting guns to her head, breaking her jaw. She got her tubes tied on the day her last son was born in July 1996. He told her if she had any more children that he would kill her. He also used to tell his kids that he killed their mother when she was hard at work. He would never help her or buy the kids diapers or anything they needed. I am not in this to just try to get money, I want to give her a child, that is what she really wants. I want her to feel what love is really like when you have a child with someone you love. I love her with all my heart. She is a very strong woman who, as you can see, came through hell with the help of the Lord. She got away from him. When she met me she was going through a divorce and I was determined to help her and marry her and make her happy. Then I hurt her by cheating on her, I was so stupid. I let my hormones think for me. I was feeling that I was younger than her and that since I was with an older woman she needed me more than I needed her. But I was stupid and wrong. I was just another jerk like her ex. She is the most loving, kind woman anyone would ever want to meet. I made a promise to God that I will never hurt her again and I won't. She cooks, cleans, does the laundry, pays the bills, takes care of us when we are sick. She is our rock. I know this may sound corny or full of it, but it's the truth. I really want this for her, even if you can help out a little I would greatly appreciate it. My wife deserves to be happy. I love her and you all will love her if you all just want to meet her. |

Medical Procedure
I am still in need of a medical procedure...I have done the research with help from a friend who is employed at the hospital. She found a doctor who will do this, if I get the $500.00 up front. I know winning won't get me the full amount, but it sure would help. I have not sent any packages in the past three weeks, trying to save all I can, and I have $150.00, so far. If I could keep saving at this rate, I could probably do this on my own in a couple of months, however, now the taxes are due, car insurance is due, and house insurance is due. So my saving won't amount to much this month, if I am able to save any at all. |
