A stem cell transplant
I know that is a ridiculous sum of money! If I don't have an autologous (not embryonic) stem cell transplant I will likely die. I have a clotting disorder called Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome that has caused me to have a heart attack and many strokes; and as is the case with autoimmune diseases, if you have one you have several. I am very happily married and I am an excellent professor. I make a huge impact in the lives of my students. I have so much left to give.
