Money for a Memorial Garden at our Fire Station

A health club membership so I can load the patient by myself
An average patient weights 200+lbs and our gurney weighs 120lbs making my lift weight be 300+lbs. I just want to be able to lift the gurney without having to scare the patient or ask the boys I work with to do it for me. I am great at manuvering the empty gurney by myself, but I am not quite able to load a patient yet. I beleive that having a gym membership will help me build the muscles I need to properly load the gurney in our ambulance. |

Money to pay our Fire Department Dues
My husband and I each owe $55 to our Fire Station to pay our annual dues. This money is used to buy items that we and our fellow fire fighters use. I have not been able to pay these because I have been paying more important bills. Thank You reguardless of your vote! |

One night with no pagers with my husband
3 ambulance pagers+2 fire pages+2 cell phones+a direct dial from 911 dispatch=no quiet nights with my husband **UPDATE**. (I am working on joining another department to allow myself to go on more med calls meaning there will be 3 fire pagers. This department averages 6 a day and will be building a new station within a year!) I am asking for enough to cover his wages for one night plus a pizza and blockbuster movie. This will let me turn off every pager and cell phone to have just one night with him. In the past week he has had off 36 hours and I have spent about 10 with him (half of that me cuddling with is back as he is dead asleep, the other half was spent in an ambulance.) The video is of a pager going off (Not ours!) but it lets you know what I get to wake up to in the middle of the night. |

A refurbished Ipod (4th Try).
I am a freelance music reviewer who could really use an iPod to keep up with the latest releases. Reviewing music is my livelihood and having an iPod would make things so much easier so I'll have more time to spend with my wonderful family. |

Get Well Flowers for Rev. Fred Phelps
I think I've finally realized the problem, and I know how to cure it. Recently I learned about the "Flowers for Jack Thompson" fund that (while unsuccessful) was a very unique and most importantly pacifistic message for him [ link ] I would like to send flowers to Rev. Fred Phelps. I think he's ill, but that?s just my opinion. He needs flowers, or a puppy to make him smile and not be so angry. |

the money to reinstate my electricity. It has been shut off
I have two beautiful daughters, 1.5 years old and 9 yrs old. I am without electricity and have no way of refridgerating our food. I'm living in the dark. My electricity bill got out of hand and I cannot afford the high balance. I plead with you to please help me in anyway that you can. Thank you and God Bless. |
