I want to help my friend get her teeth fixed
My friend has lived her life helping other people. She is a wife, a mother, a teacher, a helper, a friend. Her family goes out of their way to help other people with anything great or small. If she sees someone in need, she does what she can to fulfill that need. Now, I want to give back to her, and help her get her teeth fixed. Many times I hear her in so much pain because of her teeth. She has dental insurance, but even after they pay what little they will pay there is still this enormous amount left. Some of it will be for cosmetic (Even though I think she has a beautiful smile, she has expressed being self-concious about it) but for the most part it will be so that she will not be in pain anymore. Please help? |

Fire destroyed girlfriend's house. She and son lost it all.
Last year the love of my life lost her home and all of her and her son's things in a fire, and they nearly lost their lives. We're in an amazing relationship and I desperately want to help her out. I'm looking for a house to buy, but right now I don't have much money to furnish the house. She has nothing, and I have very little. There are certain circumstances withholding her from having a job right now, so she has very little income. I work full-time and am coming up with the money for a down payment on a house. I can't afford much else. |

Money to fix our one and only family car
I've always been more of a giver, than a taker. I enjoy helping others in their time of need and would do anything to help anyone. Even those who I don't know. I have a very big heart and always donate whatever I can to fund raisers to help people who are in need of surgery, or other medical help. I'm always donating clothes and other items to needy families and homeless shelters. It does my heart good to know that because of just a little something that I can do, made someone's life a little easier. |

A Massage, Manicure, and Pedicure--in short, a spa day!
I need a spa day! I broke my ankle in January and am finally out of my cast. My poor feet need some pampering, and my muscles have been overworked lugging around that heavy cast as well. Summer is coming, and I want to have nice tootsies for sandal season. I checked the price at a local salon, and a package deal with a massage, manicure, and pedicure is $323! |

Help for friend leaving abusive husband with 3 children.
I have a friend who is staying with me - she has 3 children (8yrs, 7yrs, and 22 mos.) - and has finally gotten the courage to leave her abusive husband after 9 years. She is going through the womens center for help with a divorce & a protective order - but she needs a home and money to take care of her children. Her "husband" will not help and is still trying to guilt, threaten, and force her to come back. He is threatening to take the children from her and has already tried to get the police and CPS to help him. Luckily, they see that she is doing the right thing. She is working but doesn't make much money yet. She has no furniture and very minimal clothes for the children. Most of their things were left behind when she ran with them ... all she has is what she could fit into her trunk. I think that any funds that I could get for her from here would help get her started. She has no other family to speak of and my husband and I are doing all that we can. Although - my husband is about to lose his mind with 4 extra people in our home (Especially since our family already has 4 people LOL). Please help her (and me). Thank you!!! |

New Clothing for New Climate
We just moved from a cold climate to a HOT climate and I'd love to have more than just jeans and long sleeved shirts to wear this summer. Plus there's not much selection in this town, so I basically have to take what I can get or travel for an hour to get to a decent mall. :P |

Brother was murdered recently. Desperatly need your help
I need help with donations and votes. Recently went on a vacation to South Carolina. Had a small family reunion. We made lots of good memories. Tha only one missing was my btother who had to work. On June 21st I got a call at 3:30 am from my mother stating she was on her way to identify my brother. Never expected this phone call. That day I flew to SC and spent 2 weeks knowing I could not afford it but my family needed me. I had to remain strong. I took care of my mother who is not in good health. I did everything that needed to be done. My brother was sleeping in an apartment he shared with a friend. He woke up and for some reason went in to the other bedroom where his friend was playing with a gun. As soon as my brother walked in the gun went off and my brother was shot in the face below the left eye. He died instantly. I feel so many emotions and I'm told this is normal. This makes it harder on me because I'm bipolar. I feel so much regret, sadness, anger, and depression. This did not have to happen. I have so many questions that will never be answered. Why- is the big one. Here we made beautiful memories on vacation and it ended with one horrible one. By the way my brothers name was Mike Smith. He is the only brother I had and I looked up to him in so many ways. He left behind a daughter and a fiance. I know it is going to take some time to get over but with your help you can ease some of the burden. The money will go towards expenses. Please if you can make a donation and give your votes so that we may win or a least get some financial assistance. We are a family of 6 on one income because I have 2 other disabled children. It's never a good time to bury someone and it's very hard. I'm sorry if I jumped around a bit it's hard writting about something so personal. Prayers for my grandpa
My almost 86 year old grandpa was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. He will soon be starting an Immunotherapy treatment that we pray will help. I'm just requesting thoughts & prayers for my dear grandpa. Thanks & God bless! |
