The characters in Mary Poppins wanted to do it, when someone makes us angry we often tell them to do it, and I would like to do it as well.
I want to fly a kite.
It's a pretty simple wish, with a seemingly absurd price tag

Kites of today are amazing efficient things, producing more than just lift for themselves they also share the love and try to lift you too...at least the kites I want.

This wish is for a 6 metre Slingshot B series kite, with all the necessary trimmings to let this beauty soar.
A kite such as this can be fun for doing stunt like tricks, but is also meant to propel its pilot on wheeled devices of sorts like mountain skateboards and buggies. For those willing to brave the cold these kites work brilliantly when pulling someone on a snowboard or skis.

What better way to enjoy the upcoming summer months than doing what every kid loves, and flying a kite.

After having my first son, I got chunky. After having my second son, I got fat. Somehow the years have turned into extra pounds that are keeping me from having a healthy lifestyle. I want to cry when I realize that I am considered obese by textbook definitions. I have made a commitment to myself and to my family to be healthy and thin again.

I have started exercising and already lost 6 pounds. I cried tears of joy. Now it is time for me to add a healthy diet to my plan. I have tried Southbeach, Atkins, WW,etc. I couldn't stick with them because there was too much freedom and I would eat the wrong things.

My request is for money to purchase a month of prepackaged healthy food (not sure if I can say the company name or not.) I cannot afford to spend this money on top of still needing to get groceries for my family.

It is my hope that having the food already prepared and ready to go will keep me focused and on track. With the combination of continued exercise and a good diet, I can become the woman I want to be and a role model for my children. I consider this a jump start towards a better diet. Not only will the results of weight loss from eating right be a motivation for me, but it will also be a way for me to learn about portion control and a well balanced diet.

I realize that others out there have very worthy requests, and I want to thank you for taking the time to read mine. Being overweight is something that is making me very unhappy and I need to change it. I need help and if I can get it here, I will be one step closer to my goal. Thank you!
