Hand controls for an Astro Van.
I help with a non-profit organization that holds a fundraiser picnic at our local beach park. I got the car, so I can go around to the various businesses in our county and promote the event, make our meetings, and just run basic errands when I need to. We have put a wheelchair path that stretches out to the ocean, concrete picnic tables that are high enough to let wheelchairs under, and other concrete benches along the bike path at Oxnard beach. Our next picnic is on July 15th. I am in a wheelchair myself, but I am learning to use a prosthesis. Soon, I hope to be able to drive again, once I get the controls installed in my van (which was given to me by a close friend). I really hope this wish can be granted! Thank you for your time.
