Bio:
I'm a self-employed carpenter and I believe that I'm to spend my life helping those who cannot help themselves, namely widows and orphans. Africa has far too many of both, so this will be my first trip there to build an orphanage for kids who have lost their parents to AIDS and war in Mozambique. This trip will be different for me in that my wife will be coming with me as this is such a big part of my life, she needs to experience it too in order to understand what I see/feel/think.

I only joined this site today, and I think it is amazing. The work are going to do with that money is just.. ermm.. whats the word i'm looking for.. hmm.. anywayz.. I think you have done yourself proud and you will make a huge difference to many childrens lives. I also do work for a local charity (childrens hospice) and I have raised about £4,000 ($7,900) and I can tell you.. it wasn't easy! I would love to go to Africa one day, that is one of my goals in life.I think I have said enough now.. I'm sure you're very busy making plans for the big trip.. I wish you the best of luck! And if you have time, I would love you send me an e-mail to let me know how the project is going. My E-mail: ellostacey@hotmail.co.uk xxx

You will have to keep us updated on your adventures man. Best of luck in Mozambique.
Jeff, thank you so much for your kind words of support. I believe we are two of a like mind! keep on giving your generous heart to the world. If we all gave just a little of our kindness and compassion to those less fortunate, this would be such a better world. you don't have to be a bill gates or oprah winfrey to make a difference! in fact, its the little people, those of us who give and practice charitable acts much more quietly, who truly make the difference! namaste, Maggie Didi (Didi means Big Sister in Nepali)
